It had been 1 year since Minji got a little bit more comfortable with Y/n's teethed face. She was now 22 with 4 years left until misery came knocking.
"I told you. It's a Halloween party. You don't have to worry about your face," Minji pulled her Little Monster with her into the house party in the distance.
In the one year, since the last time Y/n showed their face to Minji, Y/n had gained 60 new teeth. Which caused most of their face to be covered in teeth.
Truth be told, it still scared the hell of Minji....
But she made a promise.
Minji knew she could not leave Y/n's side until her promise was fulfilled. She knew her time was running out...
But at times point, she didn't care about time.
Minji cared about sticking to her promise.
"Ugh, humans!" Y/n groaned.
"You love humans. Misery is your thing. Just-" Minji stopped in her tracks and turned to face Y/n... forgetting that their afterlife face was up for display...
Minji immediately closed her eyes and quickly said...
"Just don't eat anybody."
- The Monster -
"NICE MASK, BRO!!"
"WOW, THOSE PROSTHETICS ARE INSANE!!"
"OH MY GOD! YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!"
I felt like shit.
I didn't understand what Miss Kim was trying to do by inviting me to her friend's party.
I felt fucking pathetic.
"Are you having fun?!" Hanni, Minji's friend, asked.
"Yeah," I did my best to only move my main teeth.
"This is crazy. I think you've got the best costume out of everyone. How did you even do this? It must have taken hours," Miss Pham giggled in a bit of fear at my "costume".
"Can I touch?" She asked.
"I think-" Miss Kim quickly came to my aid.
"I think if we touch Y/n's costume then their teeth will fall out or the magic of it will fade," Minji smiled at me.
"Yeah, the glue I used wasn't that good!" I awkwardly played along.
"Ahh, I guess that's true! If a tooth or two fall out then it will ruin it!" Miss Pham giggled as she realized she could ruin my "costume".
"Exactly! Plus, I'm sure Y/n-ssi would like to mingle with others and have fun. So, let's go find the rest of the girls!" Miss Kim pulled her friend away with an excuse.
I exhaled deeply as I saw them walk away. I didn't have any business at this party but I appreciated the consideration on Miss Kim's part.
"KEEP DRINKING!"
"EAT MORE!"
"YOU'RE TOO FAT FOR THIS COSTUME!"
"HE DOESN'T LOVE YOU!"
"SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU!"
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TELL MY LITTLE SISTER OUR MOM DIED?!?"
