"I'm hungry!" The Moster announced, walking into Minji's house as if it were their own.
"Dinner will be ready soon," The housemaid ran over to inform Y/n.
Y/n politely bowed and leisurely roamed around the house. They weren't trying to interact with Minji until they figured out why their teeth kept falling out around her.
This wasn't the first time The Monster's teeth had fallen off.
It first happened when Miss Kim signed her contract and said...

Y/n-ssi was acting odd during dinner.
I never really understood why Y/n ate human food when it didn't satisfy them. They always said it was to act as human as possible but it still didn't make any sense. The Monster could just disappear to eat something else at any given point. Y/n didn't have to eat like the living.
"Where'd you go?" I questioned.
"I got hungry," Y/n munched on chicken bones, with their teethed face, while the staff wasn't looking.
"Doesn't seem like you ate... there's two teeth are missing from your right eyebrow," I awkwardly cleared my throat.
I had noticed the odd shift in the number of teeth on Y/n's face had in the last year. I always kept a close eye on how many teeth they had on their face and each do their placements.
I had noticed a few times that the number of teeth would decrease a bit... before suddenly doubling within a few days...
It was odd.
It made me wonder how Y/n's punishment really worked.
"Were the teeth permanent?"
"How did they suddenly disappear?"
"Why did they keep doubling?"
I always thought that the teeth were permanent and that each pair symbolized a human's misery being taken, but now I wasn't so sure.
"Okay," Y/n-ssi responded without much care.
"Okay," I decided that I was done eating.
Looking at Y/n's face for too long made me lose my appetite.
"Eat however much you want. Just don't leave without letting me know," I exhaled as I got up from the dinning table.
"Your heart has some turmoil in it at the moment. I can't leave you defenseless right now," Y/n dusted their fingers before getting up from the dinning table as well.
I looked at Y/n-ssi a bit confused for a moment but decided to believe they were just making up an excuse to stick around.
I didn't feel any particular way.
At least not in any way I did when Y/n first appeared.

It was boring to look after Miss Kim. Her contract with me practically repelled any monsters or lost souls. But, I had to keep up my end of the bargain.
"I'm bored!" I threw a plush ball at Minji while she read a magazine on her bed.
"Then go do something," She rolled her eyes at me.
