"Here We Are."
Y/n transported exactly to where they wanted.
The Monster stared at the semi-soulless person sitting in the bathtub in front of them. There were streaks of blood flowing from the person's wrist.
"You're practically dead already. So, it wouldn't hurt," The Monster squatted down to look at the dying person in their eyes.
It was a dirty trick to eat the misery of a dying person but...
Y/n was desperate to get back the teeth they had just lost. Miss Kim saying "I Love You" caused four of The Monster's favorite teeth to disappear.
"Who a-re y-you?" The dying person looked onto the hazy figure in front of them.
"I'm here to take your pain way," Y/n took the blade from the person's hand.
"You're here to help?" The person's voice was fading as their live faded away.
"Yes," Y/n smirked...
Before fully opening their entire face and sucking every last bit of Misery out of the poor soul in front of them.
"I'M ALL ALONE."
"NO, ONE WILL EVER LOVE ME AGAIN!"
"IT'S BETTER TO DIE LIKE THIS."
"WHY DID I EVEN GO TO THAT PARTY?"
"I SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THAT DRINK HE GAVE ME."
"MAYBE IT WAS MY FAULT."
"I WANTED MY FIRST TIME TO BE SPECIAL."
"I FEEL SO DISGUSTING."
Soon enough, all the misery The Monster could feast on was all gone.
Two teeth regrew on Y/n's face and they smiled at the feeling of having some of their teeth back.
Soon enough, that smile faded knowing that the only reason they got those teeth was because the person in front of them wouldn't survive.
"Ha-ha!" The person in front of them began to laugh.
Y/n stood back up and leaned back against the bathroom sink. Watching as the person in front of them threw their head back and looked up at them.
"Thank you," The person whispered... getting comfortable in their bathtub...
Soon enough, the person took their last breath with a smile on their face.
- Kim Minji -
I was wondered where Y/n-ssi went when they weren't around. What could a dead person do? It's not like Y/n ate people all day.
"Did Y/n-ssi go home?" The housemaid asked when I returned home.
"Yes," I wasn't really sure.
"Should I make extra food in case they show up again?" She already knew the answer to that but she always felt the need to ask.
"Of course," I nodded.
In the last 4 years, The House Staff had learned to treat Y/n as a resident of The Kim Estate. The Monster always seemed to show up at random times. Sometimes they'd come through the front door and other times they just appeared at random rooms in the house.
It wasn't often that The House Staff saw Y/n but anyone could guess when they were in the house by the ruckus they always made.
"Miss Kim, I must say that ever since you and Y/n-ssi started dating... you've been... much happier," The housemaid suddenly commented.
"What?" I looked at her confused.
"It's been 4 years. We may not see it with our own eyes, but we can hear it through the walls," She playfully elbowed me.
I furrowed my brows really disturbed by her assumption.
"We can hear the screams," The maid winked at me before taking her leave.
"Those are screams of fear," I mumbled to myself.
- The Monster -
"YOU CAN'T KEEP EATING PEOPLE!!" My handler yelled in my face.
I yawned in return.
I had heard it all before.
"IF YOU'RE WHO BODY FILLS WITH TEETH THEM YOU'LL BE STUCK ON EARTH AS A LOST AND BITTER MONSTER!" He continued to yell.
"YOU WON'T EVER MOVE ONTO A PEACEFUL AFTERLIFE!"
I was getting tired.
"I wonder what Miss Kim is eating for dinner today," I thought to myself.
"YOU NEED TO LET GO OF ALL THOSE BITTER FEELINGS. YOU NEED TO FORGIVE. GIVE UP REVENGE. STOP THINKING EVERYONE COULD BE FIXED. JUST LET IT GO!!" My handler was almost done with his usual complaints.
"JUST LET GO," He sighed.
"You deserve better. Just because you handle pain so well, doesn't mean you need to be a pain bearer for the rest of your life," He finally started to give up.
He knew I was set in my ways.
Ever since I died, I wanted nothing but to stay on earth and help people. I was lost for a while but I was still angry and in pain.
My handler eventually found me.
He was in charge of getting me to the afterlife.
Unfortunately for him, I had already started to take on other people's misery. Others' misery anchored me to The Living World.
Before I could pass on, I needed to stick around just a little longer to get my revenge.
"Society won't ever change. This world isn't for you anymore. We can help you. You just need to let it all go and follow me to The Afterlife," He tried to reason with me.
I yawned a bit more and stretched.
"Gotta go check on The Kim kid. Why don't you go check on her family in the afterlife while I go check up on her?" I stretched a little more... before walking away...
"You're lucky she's protected by a contract!! You should've just left her alone if you weren't going to eat her!!" He screamed from behind me.
"What's so special about her anyway?" I heard him scoff...
Before I transported over to the front gates of The Kim Estate.
