'So....'' Leo stated while I took a fry and ate it. Suddenly two fingers snapped in front of me

''Nothing.'' I lied once again. I kept doing that the whole day. I was a mess. It was the''

''It's the 100th time I catch you daydreaming and not paying attention!'' Courtney complained rolling her eyes at me

''What's wrong Victoria?'' Leo asked and reaching across the table he cupped my hand with his

''N..nothing'' I said stuttering a little, and I was surprised that I could feel tears whelming in my eyes.

''Vick, we know you'' Courtney said starring at me dead in the eyes.

''It's nothing...I'm fine'' I told them. Courtney raised an eyebrow at me suspiciously

''Has that anything has to do with Cam?'' Courtney demanded and when I didn't reply she knew it had to do with him

''Spill'' She ordered. I let out a deep breath. What's the reason to hide what happened from my friends? If I didn't tell them then who I would?

So I did told them everything, including the almost kissing part, and the part that he left saying he would meet a girl

''He's an idiot'' Leo said

''Oh God'' Courtney said covering her mouth. Both me and Leo looked at her confused. What the hell was that for?

''Are you....falling for him?'' She asked and my eyes widened

''No!'' I almost shouted and a few heads turned and looked at us. I dropped my voice a little

''I just.....like him...a little. That's all'' I said and saying it out loud make my cheeks flushed a little

''It's not...bad you know'' She said softly

''No Court, it is. I'm not falling for him, and I wont'' I said

''Which one of us you're trying to convince Vick? Me or yourself?'' Thankfully the bell rang taking me out of my awkward position and I didn't have to reply to her.

But the rest of the day I couldn't help but think what she said. Which one of us I was trying to convince? And what if one in a billion I was did falling for him? I already knew the end. It would end up with me, brokenhearted and him laughing over me. Because that was what boys does. Laugh at you.

The rest of the day pass by quickly. None of us talk about Cam thank God, but then I had to drop Courtney to her home.

''So are you gonna tell him how you're feeling?'' She suddenly asked and I almost chocked.

''What the hell Court?'' I demanded

''What?'' She asked clearly amused by all this.

''I did. Well kind of. And I end up with your brother! Oh and by the way, I'm coming home with you. Your mom wont be there and Blake wants to sepnt some time with me'' I looked at her stunned. I didn't even knew my mom wasn't going to be home. I thought she had the night shift. Well maybe something came up.

''Okay....''I said slowly as I turn left

''Oh we need to go Halloween costume shopping'' She beamed and my eyes widened

''You forget about the party?'' She guessed and I smiled innocently at her. With all those stuff going on, I had forget all about the Halloween party at our school this very Friday.
