The Exams Pt. 1

Two days later, it was the day of the Chunin exams, and I was running late. The exams were in the morning and I had been up late the night before talking to Ken and Horoku.

I got to the doors just as my team was about to enter. I was silently stalking them, until we got to the stairs. Then, Kakashi showed up, transporting both of us to the third floor and making me miss Gai's team.

While we were waiting, Kakashi decided to tell me that I was going to be on my own team. It went a bit like this.

"So, you know that only teams of three are allowed in, right?"

"Yep, so?"

"So, you have a team of four"

"Sooooo....."

"So, you are going to be your own team for these exams?"

"Do I get a choice in this?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I keep Ken with me?"

"Yeah?"

"Then, I won't be by myself. I mean you wouldn't want me in a life or death situation without any backup would you...?

"What, no, of course not!"

"Good, so I have a team of three then!!!"*me, Ken, and Horoku*.

That was when I got bored. I may or may not have zoned out until my team showed up because next thing I know Naruto is dragging me into the room and Kakashi is mouthing to me that he didn't tell them. I shook my head at them all. Then I sneakily escaped Naruto's grip. I made my way across the room to Gaara so that I could have some quiet. That meant that I walked across the ceiling and dropped into a sitting position in front of Gaara. This time instead of using him as a backrest, I pulled him down next to me, and whispered to him, "I hope that you know that to me you could never be a monster." His siblings freaked out and he slightly shook his head at me. I gave him a hug before getting up and pulling him up with me. I then went back to my team after explaining that I didn't want them to freak out too much when they notice I'm missing. Nobody responded, I think they they were slightly in shock.

I snuck back to my team, just in time to hear Sasuke ask Kabuto to see chakra cards for me, Lee, and Gaara. Kabuto showed them Lee's card, but when it got to Gaara's card, I made it fly to him, and my card, showed itself to me before ripping itself up. I turned around and smiled at Gaara before giving the rookie 9 a look of complete innocence. Due to my interference, the sound ninja did not get a chance to attack Kabuto, and Kabuto was glaring at me.

This is where Ibiki showed up. "Alright, maggots, shut up, and get in line to get your seat numbers." After I got in my number, I went to sit down. As I sat down, I noticed two things. One, my head barely reached the table, and two I was in between two chunins. What luck on the second part, right. There was an easy solution to my first problem. I used the transformation jutsu to turn into a taller version of me, but instead of creating a puff of smoke, my body shimmered and changed inconspicuously. Nobody seemed two have noticed my little change nor were they given the chance to as Ibiki went over the rules and said start. This is what I heard though, "blah blah blah blah blah, START!!!" This test was going to be so easy. You see I knew we needed to cheat so I merely had Ken tell me what the Chunin next to me were writing. Since they already knew the amswers, I was done in ten minutes. I quickly zoned the world out. Well, at least until I was shocked back into the world by a kunai flying at my head. I was prepared to stop it in midair, but it turns out I didn't need to. The Chunin next to me stopped it for me.

So apparently I was caught cheating, and I'm pretty sure the Chunin next to me knew that I wasn't and that's why he stopped the kunai. I looked at the man that threw the kunai and he yells at me, "I caught you cheating five times, you are out!!" I looked around the room quickly and asked, "Who? Me?"

"Yeah, you. Now, you and your team are out!"

"Now, there are two flaws in what you said. The first is that I don't currently have a team and the second is that I finished my test in the first ten minutes that it was given to us."

The guy didn't like what I had to say so he decided to lunge at me. I moved the guy midair so that he went over me, I didn't really want to move. The second time he lunged however there was no way to use my telekinetic powers on him without others noticing. I had to actually dodge. I managed to hit Ibiki when I dodged and the guy stopped when he noticed Ibiki so I used this as an opportunity to make my way behind Ibiki and use him for both a piggyback ride and a bodyguard. He didn't seem to like this as Ibiki picked me up, off of him, put me at my desk and demanded from both of us what was going on. We explained what happened and waited for Ibiki's verdict.

"Both of you sit down and shut up, and girl if you step one toe out of line, YOU ARE OUT OF HERE!!"

The procters retreated and I sat down. Man, this test still has at least another 40 minutes left. Oh well, at least I can get a good nap in while I wait since I can't do anything that might seem 'suspicious'. So I close my eyes and enter my world of dreams.

3rd PoV

Between two Chunins, a girl quickly fell asleep. Her head leaning on the Chunin to the right of her. The Chunin looked down at the girl just in time to see the girl's body flicker and fade back into her seven year old body. This would have caused confusion throughout the classroom, but only the Chunin noticed the change.

*time skip to after the tenth question*

Everyone had cleared the room to meet their senseis, except for Kiara, the Chunin she fell asleep on, and Ibiki. The Chunin gently shook Kiara's shoulders effectively waking her up.

She lifted her head off the man's shoulder and told him, "Thanks for being my pillow, and letting me cheat off of you!"

The man blinked and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, " Oh, no problem. I'm a Chunin so that was kinda my purpose here."

"I know, why do you think I was cheating off of you?... Anyways I gotta go ask Ibiki a question. See ya!"

Kiara walked up to Ibiki as he was collecting papers, "What did I miss, I might have fallen asleep waiting for the test to be over."

He scoffed but couldn't really get that mad after Naruto's speech. "You were supposed to cheat without getting caught."

"Check"

"You were supposed to be resilient to pressure and be able to never give up."

"Check"

"And Naruto made an inspiring speech."

"And check, but why did that guy accuse me of cheating?"

"The proctors were supposed to look for weak links and obvious cheaters, you seemed like a weak link."

"That kind of backfired, huh."

"Not at all, it proved that you were willing to defend yourself and not be pushed around by superiors."

"Cool"

"The next test is in the Forest of Death, tomorrow. Good Luck, you'll need it."

***A/N***

Sorry for this taking so long. I really don't have an excuse except for laziness and lack of inspiration. I hope you like it, I tried to make it longer than last chapter, but I don't know if I succeeded and I don't think the last part is my best work. Oh, well. I shall try to do better next time.
