The dewy august air resonates on Y/n's skin along with the numerous beads of sweat that've accumulated over the past thirty minutes of none stop lugging boxes up three flights of stairs.

"Damn these stairs." The twenty one year old huffs out, dropping the last of her belongings to her feet after finally reaching the top of the stair case. "I dunno if I'll be able to do this everyday."

"Well, you better get use to it." Jungkook, Y/n's twin brother, snickers as he walks past her with a significantly lighter box held high atop his head. "The dorm's about a block away from campus so you're bound to get in shape one way or another."

Y/n glances up at her brother and grunts annoyedly at the thought of all this up and coming exercise she'd be forced to partake in.

"Oh cruel and merciless god-why did you pursuade me to transfer only to taunt me with this endless torture-WHYYY!?" She cries out dramatically, thus resulting in her brother glancing back at her with an amused smirk.

"Alright Shakespeare, let's unpack your things so we can go out to eat yeah?"

The mention of food immediately wipes the over exaggerated frown off of Y/n's face and replaces it with a much more upbeat look of joy.

"Your treat?" She grins, slowly leaning back down to pick up the box of rocks at her feet.

Jungkook sighs out in exasperation, though it's merely a facade to mask his true feelings towards his sister.
"Yeah yeah," he huffs, continuing on with his stride down the hall. "My treat."

With this Y/n wastes no time in picking up her box of things and straggling behind her brother as she hums a little tune about food.

"Hmm Hmm, food is great, Hmm Hmm, for any date, Hmm Hmm, I want to eat, Hmm Hmm, for the sake of peat, hmmm hmmm I-"

Jungkook comes to an abrupt hault about halfway down the hall intentionally causing his much shorter twin to tumble into his back as he slowly peaks over his shoulder with a look of mock annoyance.

"After all this time you still sing that dumb song?" He snarls a lip, hiding the fact that over the past year of he and his sister being apart he'd secretly missed the tiny tune she'd made up back in elementary school.

"It's my happy song." Y/n retorts with a scrunched nose. "You're just jealous of my amazing song writing skills. I'm no fool, I see right through your envy."

Jungkook rolls his eyes with a scoffed "Yeah right." Before continuing on down the hall and smiling softly to himself until they've arrived at Y/n's designated dorm room.

The door is left open from their past twenty some odd trips up and down the stairs.

There's a single window against the back wall with plain white curtains hung up in front of it, one twin sized mattress tucked away in the corner along with a side table, a book case, and a small desk.

It's small, and the floor is completely covered in brown cardboard boxes with various labeled on the tops of them.
Both siblings sigh at the sight.

"Boy, this should be fun." Y/n sighs.

Jungkook arches a single brow and looks to his sister with pursed lips.

"Yep, about as fun as our middle school graduation."

Both sibling's eyes widen at the memory of the chaotic event that had happened seemingly an eternity ago.

They shiver.

"Let's not talk about that..." Y/n mumbles, walking inside her cramped dorm and setting down the last box followed by her brother doing the same.

"Agreed." He grumbles, shutting the door before taking a seat on one of the few empty spaces left on the floor to begin unpacking his sisters things.
