After English Y/n's day seemed to take its sweet time in passing by. She was tired and ready to go home by the time she walked into her psychology course.

However, once she saw Cherin, Mai, and Suho she felt the urge to perk up as they all glanced her way and waved excitedly at her.

Y/n smiled, making her way through the aisles of desks and over to them. As she did she spared her soulmate a brief glance only to find he was doing the exact same.

The eye contact was short lived as promptly after realizing he'd been caught Yoongi looked elsewhere with a particularly sour scowl on his face.

"Y/n!" Cherin beams, reaching out and tugging the girl into her seat by her wrist. "We've missed you!"

"I've missed you guys too!" Y/n says, not entirely sure if what she was saying was the truth.

"We felt really badly about not being able to go to karaoke with you last night." Mai says with a pout weighing down her bottom lip.

"Ah, don't worry about it. I wound up going home and resting anyways."

Suho peaks over y/n shoulder with a tiny smile.

"We still feel badly. We wanna make it up to you!"

"Mhm!" Cherin hums. "We want to take you out for drinks tonight."

"Really?" Y/n can't help but show her surprise.

After all, she was starting to feel like the trio were bad news. But this? Offering to treat her to an afternoon out at a bar sounded like so much fun.

"Yep!" Mai grins. "We know this great place close to campus. Suho can get us drinks for free. He's friends with the bar tender!"

"Whadda ya say?" Suho says.

"Sure! Although, I should probably mention that I haven't drank in a long time. I may not be able to keep up."

Suho smirks.

"Don't worry about that. I'll be there all night to keep my girls safe. I've got an incredibly high tolerance."

"It's true, he does!" Cherin says, easily helping the boys argument.

"Alright then." Y/n smiles. "I'd love to."

"Great! We're all meeting there tonight around six! It'll be a blast."

With this the group changes the topic to something relating to today's lesson. More specifically; how much they hated it.

Meanwhile, Yoongi, who couldn't help but over hear their conversation had a strangely unsettling feeling come over him.

Something about this didn't sit right with him.

Sure, it was probably because he hated the trio of friends Y/n has come to associate with. But, more so than that there was something off about the way Suho was currently staring at Y/n as she spoke with the others.

Something...dark.

His eyes studied her up and down. Slowly and carefully taking in her every curve as his tongue slowly dragged across his bottom lip.

It made Yoongi nauseous.

Without thinking Yoongi abruptly stood from his seat. The pace at which he did so caused his chair to tip over and fall backwards; clashing loudly against the floor and causing all eyes to cut his way.

Including Y/n's.

He froze for a moment. Stuck in her captivating line of sight as she looks at him with visible concern laced through each of her features.

It's clear she hasn't got a clue in the world as to what's happening around her and for some reason Yoongi can't bring himself to be the one that reveals it to her.

After all, if he did it would only give her the wrong impression. That he cares about her.

That couldn't be farther from the truth. He doesn't give a damn about that girl. And yet...he physically can't bring himself to sit in the same room as her knowing she's walking into a trap.

He wonders if Jin's words from the night before subconsciously took a tole on his conscious. It was the only reasonable explanation. With this in mind, Yoongi grabs his things and leaves the now dead silent class in a hurry.

...

Rushing out into the hall Yoongi fishes his phone out of his pocket and dials Jungkook's number with haste.

After a few rings the boy finally picks up.

"What?" He says, his tone making it evident that he is currently less than pleased with Yoongi.

Yoongi doesn't love this, but he knows that Jungkook has every right to be upset with him so he brushed the rude greeting off.

"What are you doing tonight?"

Jungkook pauses on the other end of the line. He's curious as to why the man is asking. However, after a moment or two he assumes he's trying to find time for the two of them to make up. It's safe to say Jungkook wasn't finished brewing over the whole situation.

"I'm busy. I've got an exam tomorrow. Me and a couple of classmates are studying at my place."

Yoongi scowls.

He wants to tell Jungkook to cancel. Wants to tell him he needs to go to the local bar and watch over his sister.

But, if he does and the whole thing turns out to be nothing more than a group outing he'll look like a fool. An overprotective one at that.

"Never mind." He grumbles, hanging up the phone afterwards.

Yoongi rests his back against the wall behind him and lets out a frustrated sigh. He wants to ignore what he'd heard in class. He wants to pretend none of it struck him as odd.

But everyone he tries the image of Suho appears in his mind. The way that bastard stares Y/n down like she's just a piece of ass makes Yoongi's insides twist in an uncomfortable way.

He knows that even if he tries to ignore the feeling it will only grow stronger the farther away he is from his soulmate. He knows he won't be able to focus on anything else.

"For fucks sake why do I have to do everything myself." He grunts, pushing himself off the wall and further down the hallway.

'If I'm going to be stuck at a stupid bar all night I'll need to take my nap early.'
