Aanchal's grip tightens on the steering wheel as she recalls Rajesh's words about Abhinav acquiring the drugs.
Aanchal-I still can't believe it.I thought Abhinav was a genuine guy but he cheated Akshara
Shweta, sitting in the passenger seat, nods in agreement.
Shweta-It's hard to digest. But we have the evidence now, and it all points back to him. He was desperate and delusional enough to manipulate her, thinking he could make her reciprocate his feelings.
Aanchal falls silent, her mind drifting back to the memory that has been bothering her ever since Rajesh's confession.
Flashback scene plays
It's a sunny afternoon in Kasauli, and the warmth of the sun is offset by a cool mountain breeze. Akshara is sitting on the porch of her house, sipping tea, when Abhinav (Chomu) approaches her with a nervous smile. He hesitates for a moment before taking a seat next to her.
Abhinav(Chomu)-Aksharaji, I need to tell you something
he begins, his voice trembling slightly. Akshara turns to him, her expression kind but puzzled. Taking a deep breath, Abhinav blurts out,
Abhinav(Chomu)-I love you, Akshara. I've loved you since the day I met you. You mean everything to me
The smile on Akshara's face fades, replaced by a look of regret.
Aksharaji-Abhinavji, I'm so grateful for your friendship. But I don't feel the same way. You're a dear friend to me, and I cherish that bond. But love... I can't give you that
Abhinav's face falls, his eyes clouded with disappointment. He forces a smile, nodding as if he understands.
Abhinav(Chomu)-It's okay, Aksharaji. I respect your decision. We'll stay friends, right?
Akshara- Of course, we will. You mean a lot to me, as a friend.
End of Flashback
Back in the car, Aanchal's eyes widen as she connects the dots.
Aanchal-He must have snapped after that rejection,
She says out loud as if realizing the full extent of Abhinav's desperation for the first time.
Aanchal-He couldn't handle it, and that's why he resorted to drugging her. He thought he could manipulate her feelings
Shweta looks at her, a frown of concern etched on her face
Shweta-If that's the case, then there might be more evidence but how and where we would get it....
Aanchal I know where..... Akshara'a home in kasauli
Shweta-Kasauli???
Aanchal-Yessss We need to go there and dig deeper. Maybe there's something at Akshara's house that can help us.
She pulls over to the side of the road and takes out her phone, dialing Abhimanyu's number. He picks up on the second ring, his voice filled with concern
Abhi-Aanchal? Is everything okay?
