In the Shadow of Wrong Love

In a twilight glow, when hearts start to dance,
We chase silhouettes, entrusting a chance,
Like moths drawn to flames, with dreams interlaced,
We fall for the wrong ones, in silence embraced.

Their laughter a melody, sweet as a song,
Yet buried within it, the echoes of wrong,
A touch like a whisper, but heavy the cost,
For in love's tangled web, our souls can feel lost.

We build castles in shadows, on fleeting delight,
Wishing upon stars that fade into night,
Yet each sweet illusion, a bittersweet symphony,
Leaves behind traces, a haunting epiphany.

But oh, in that darkness, a lesson unfolds,
That even through heartache, a new love is bold,
For sometimes we stumble, just to be shown,
The beauty that blossoms, when we've finally grown.

So, we gather our pieces, with grace in our stride,
For love is a journey, in which we confide,
And though we may wander through wrong turns, we'll see,
In the garden of heartache, true love blooms free.

So, there I was, pen in hand, emotions on full blast, and Ashe's Moral of the Story playing in the background. Honestly, I think this piece could be the moody, slightly sarcastic cousin to that song. Same vibe, you know? Perfect soundtrack for scribbling down all my "totally not dramatic" thoughts!
