With the final tracks recorded, mixed, and carefully mastered, Luna held in her hands the completed album, Bloodless Phantoms. It was a work she felt truly captured the dark, haunting essence she'd envisioned for her band from the start. The idea of sharing it with Danny Elfman and Tyler Joseph filled her with excitement and a flicker of nerves; both artists had inspired her deeply, and she hoped they would appreciate the work she had poured her soul into.
Luna crafted two handwritten notes to accompany the copies she was about to send out.
To Danny Elfman:
Dear Danny,
I’ve admired your work for years—the way you intertwine orchestration and melody has inspired me immensely. My band, Bloodless Phantoms, just finished our latest album, and it’s a reflection of everything I've learned from listening to your music. You once said music is like storytelling without words, and I took that to heart with these tracks. I’d be honored if you would listen and let me know what you think. Thank you for everything you’ve unknowingly taught me through your art. With endless admiration,
Luna BatorsTo Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots:
Hi Tyler,
Twenty One Pilots has been a guiding force for me—your ability to explore themes of darkness and hope is something I deeply connect with. My band, Bloodless Phantoms, just completed our newest album, and it has been influenced by your courage to be vulnerable in your music. Each song on this album has a story, with hidden meanings and layered messages, much like the worlds you create in your albums. It would mean so much to hear your thoughts on it if you find the time to listen. Thank you for your music—it’s changed my life.Respectfully,
Luna BatorsLuna slipped each note inside the album cases, carefully packaged them, and sent them off with fingers crossed. Each day after that, she checked her inbox with a thrill of anticipation, hoping to see a response.
