"Come on! You're so slow!" I rush Nate. I'm already outside eager to get to the parking garage.

"Maybe, I'd be moving quicker if someone would be helping me carry the spray paint and tissue paper!" Nate mumbles. I scoff and rush to his side grabbing one spray paint can and back to his car.

"One! Only one?!" Nate laughs.

We decide to take Nate's car since it is smaller and can maneuver easier and quicker through traffic, than my truck, just in case we do get caught.

The ride to the garage took at least 30 minutes and was filled with jokes and laughter.

"Are you ready?" Nate asks, rubbing his two hands together, excitedly.

"This is the place?" I giggle.

"Yes, why are you laughing?" Nate asks.

"No reason, I'm just anxious." I smile.

"That can't be the reason you're laughing." Nate scowls.

"Okay, okay." I hold my hands up in a defensive manner, "How did you and your friends get kicked out of a Rec Center?" I ask.

"Oh, I see. Well, when you prank the management constantly they will get sick of your shit. Now come on, the crew is pulling up."

I step out of the car saying hello, and giving handshakes to Nate's friends. When I get to the blonde I almost squeal. "Ava!? What? How?"

"I should be asking you that, Olivia." Ava smiles as she crosses her arms. "I see you're overcoming your anxiety. I'm proud of you." She embraces me into a soft hug.

"Thanks. Really, thank you. You've helped a lot."

"Oh please. I'm barely around to help you with anything."

"Stop blaming yourself like that. I haven't made things easy for you. Teasing you about your 'clones' and all." I say and she laughs.

"I have to tell you something." I nod for her to continue. "I'm thinking of giving up my 'thrown' to hang out with these guys. I think you're going to love them too. You'll see what I mean." she grins while looking at them.

"I'm proud of you, Ava."

"And I, you, Olivia."

"Olivia! Ava!" Nate whisper/yells at us waving us to come on. "We are going to work from the inside out. You both ready?" He asks, we nod eagerly. "Let the party begin."

...

"Hey!" A deep voices booms. Our attention averts to a few security guards running towards us. We all dash to our cars. It takes awhile until we do actually get to the cars but I loved the rush that possibly getting caught gave me.

"I'm so out of breath." I wheeze.

"Same here." Nate says, speeding out of the drive way onto the highway. Dodging other cars like in the action movies.

Once we are a good distance away from the garage Nate slows down and my breaths are back to normal.

"You can't wipe that smile off of your face, can you?" he asks.

"Not really." I smile wider. "I've never done anything like this before and I hate that I haven't." I look out of the window.

"I have a question. How do you know Ava?"

"We were-are best friends. She's great."

"Yeah she really is."

"Wait, is Ava the girl you were trying to ask out?"

"Not really." he scratches the back of his neck. "That 'girl' was you. That was until you kept bragging about how great of a boyfriend that Brett guy is."

'Oh' is all I can manage to say. My phone rings and Brett's name pops up on my phone.

"Hello." I answer.

"Hey, I was calling to check up on you. How are you?" he replies.

"I'm okay. How about you-?"

"Brett, dude, come on! The girls are here. I have the condoms, you grab the alcohol!" Some guy cheers in the background.

"The girls? Condoms? And that does not sound like his uncle." I rip.

"Olivia? It's not what you think. Well it is but I can explain."

"You know what, Brett. I'm not okay, I'm great! I'm having a hell of a good time with Nate. I hope you have a fun time in Vegas."

"Olivia, wait!"

"Oh and don't worry about having a bad conscious hanging over you because you're single now. Enjoy your hookers." I end the phone call before he can reply. I shoot a quick text to my parents to let them know I won't be home until tomorrow after they reply I quickly shut my phone off, ignoring Brett's phone calls and text messages.

"You okay there." Nate asks, I shake my head. "Don't worry, I can take your mind off of that. Can you reach my backpack in the backseat?"

I reach behind me to get a hold of his bag. "Unzip it and grab what's in it." I do as I'm told.

"Smoke Grenades? What do they do?" I ask.

"Well, these aren't just normal smoke grenades, they're colored smoke grenades. You light the wire on top and when they burn they set of colored smoke. Pink smoke, Blue smoke, purple, green, etc."

"This sounds amazing!"

"You think they sound amazing? Just wait until you see them in action. We will camp out an all-nighter on a hill that overlooks LA and then at the very beginning of sunrise is when we will light the grenades. We have a photographer set low off the hill to take outstanding pictures of us setting off the grenades. We only do this two times a year."

"Wow, I can't wait!"

"I'm glad you're here to witness this."

"Me too."

...

Finally at the top of the hill I help Ava spread out the blankets. I can't remember the last time I witnessed her smile so wide.

"I can definitely see why you're willing to leave the preps for them." I look over to the group of people we came up here with.

"I thought you might." she smiles. "So, what's up with you and Nathan?"

"I don't know we are just friends. He's really cute and funny."

"Honestly, if you weren't with Brett, I'd ship you with Nathan."

"Humph." I grunt.

"What is that all about?"

"Brett's cheating on me."

"No. You don't know that for sure?"

"Oh, but I do."

"What an ass. He doesn't deserve you." Ava comforts me.

"You're just saying that."

"No, I mean it. You deserve better-"

"You deserve me." Nate cuts her off.

I turn towards Nate's serious face. He slowly reduces the space in between us. "If you deserve better...you deserve me. Forget about Brett. If he doesn't realize what he has with you is special he shouldn't be the one to call hisself your 'boyfriend.' Let me show you how a real boyfriend should be like."

I don't reply. He grabs my head with his two strong hands. "Stop me if you think I'm making a mistake." I'm speechless. He connects our lips. I find this moment refreshing and I thought this only happened in the movies. I feel the butterflies, the fireworks, the whole nine yards and I love it.

A/N: I had no idea that this story was heading into this direction. I'm being honest.

Love you guys! xx
