***Olivia' POV***

Summer Summer Summer Time!!!

I've been singing all morning. I absolutely adore summer! So here's a quick update of my life. Nate and I have separated. He was all about his music and didn't really pay any attention to me. I'm not saying that I want all of his attention but I wouldn't mind a little bit of it. I wasn't as upset as I thought I'd be, which is weird because I'm usually a huge mess when a relationship doesn't turn out how I want it to.

My dad was sent over seas for a veteran reunion thing. My mom hasn't really been at home much due to the rising crime rate on the west coast. She's been investigating a ton of cases. So at home, has been just my brothers and me. I don't mind it though. I let them invite a few of their friends over while I do the same.

Ava has been hanging out with me a lot lately and I love that. I feel as if I got my best friend back. Oh, how I've missed her. Teagan and her family are vacating in Bora Bora and won't be back until near the end of summer break. Gale and I have been hanging out a lot this summer so far, but soon he's visiting his family in Arkansas. I won't be lonely when he leaves though, I'll have Brett. 

Here's the situation with Brett, we are not back together. I'm not exactly sure if I want to deal with the pressures of being in a relationship, at the moment. I love hanging out with him. It's not awkward and I'm extremely comfortable around him. I love the feeling of being able to be myself around people. Speaking of being myself, I think I've come out of my shell a whole lot. I'm more relaxed at social events. I'm still quite closed up when I first arrive but I've realized that when I have a few shots of alcohol it's way easier. That's probably not a good idea but it works for me.

"Ugh." My little brother, Chase, groans as he enters my room.

"Something wrong?" I ask, trying not to laugh as he dramatically throws himself onto my bed like a Disney princess would have done.

"I'm bored. I want to do something today. I don't want to go to the pier again so don't ask."

"Okay, well how do you feel about going to Universal Studios?"

"Universal!? Really? Do you mean it?" Chase's face lights up.

"Yeah." I giggle, "Brett's little cousin is the same age as you and Nick. I'll ask them. Go tell your brother."

"Awesome!"

I dial Brett's number and wait for him to answer. "Good-morning, Olivia-Grace."

"Good-morning, Brett. Hey, I was wandering if you and your little cousin, Casey, would like to go to Universal Studios with me, Chase and Nick."

"Yeah, we'd love that. She'll be over here in an hour what time should we be at your place?"

As soon as she gets there you guys can come on over."

"Alright, see you soon."

Sorry this chapter was hella short! The trip to universal will be in the next chapter.

I got accepted to the University I applied to! I'm extremely excited!!
