VIII.

I wake up the next morning with the hugest smile on my face. I turn over and my elbow hits someone and I scream.

"Olivia!" Teagan screams. I totally forgot she had stayed over last night. I burst out into a fit of laughter. Teagan slaps my back. "Why did you hit me!?" She yells trying to hold back her laugh.

"I didn't mean to, I forgot you were here." I smile.

"Oh my gosh." she sits up, "Is it Tuesday?" she gasps.

"Yes." I squeal.

"Ahh! Let's get up!" Teagan and I run to my bathroom to freshen up. We walk downstairs together and my mom meets us in the kitchen.

"Goodmorning, girls." my mom winks at us.

"Morning, mom." I say. "Morning, Mrs.Bryant." Teagan says.

"I almost forgot, Olivia, Ava dropped off a dress and some heels for you. She said to check your phone if you haven't already. The dress is in the family room." I unlock my phone and read the text from Ava, 'I witnessed your bash proposal yesterday and I think you and Brett are legit goals. haha! I figured you didn't have an outfit for the occasion so I brought you a little something. Thank me later boo. ;)' p.s. I told you I'd get you in a dress.  I reply with a simple thank you and I love you bunches 'Insert 3 red heart emojis here'. I run to the family room and I see a beautiful dress laid out on the couch. It's a short v-neck strapless dress. It has a silver glittery sweetheart neckline top and yellow nude chiffon from the waist to the bottom of the dress. Beside the dress are a pair of nude high heels. I grab the ensemble and take it to my room. When I'm downstairs again my mom speaks up, "How about you two stay home today?"

"Really?" Teagan and I react at the same time.

"Really. Teagan, I'll talk it over with your mom." My mom replies.

"I'm positive she will say yes if you're letting Olivia stay out." Teagan smiles.

"Your dad and I still have to work and your brothers will be at school, so you're going to be here alone. Is that okay?" Teagan and I both nod. "If you two need anything just get it." My mom laughs and we join her.

My little brother Nick runs in, his curly hair flopping insanely, "Olivia! Chase is hurt! He needs you!" I don't even ask what has happened, I run out the front door(along with my mom and Teagan) to find my brother standing, smiling at me.

"What the hell is going on and why are you standing there like everything is okay?" I look over to my mom who's also smiling. A car's horn goes off and when I look over at it I notice my dad is driving a brand new car with a huge red ribbon on top. If it is what I think it is I am going to cry. My dad steps out with a huge smile, "Well, don't just stand there! Check out your new car!" he says motioning to the shiny unlimited blue Jeep Wrangler.

I suddenly scream at the top of lungs, scaring both my brothers. I turn towards Teagan, still screaming, she begins to laugh. I give my mom and hug and run to my dad giving him a hug.
