"Awww ! Look at my little princess ! " Kim coed as June did a 360 turn to show her yellow princess dress. Today was Halloween and kids could go to school dressed in their disguises.
These past two weeks went smoothly. Everything got back to normal and their family was back to what it had always been. There were laughters and fun times. The tension slowly but surely went away. It was like the Rayshawn episode had never happened.
Well, almost actually.
Shay and August were still working on their relationship and August was learning to trust his two oldest children again. Their relationship sure changed, but as long as they were willing to make things better between them, they didn't really have to worry about this and no matter what they loved each other more than anything else.
"I'm baby girl, mommy. Princess is Shay." The cute little girl joked making her mother chuckle.
"Go downstairs, the breakfast is waiting for you."
"Okay ! "
Kim playfully shook her head looking her youngest child running. Her kids were really the best thing that happened to her. Them and her amazing husband. Without him, she wouldn't be living her 'fairy tale'. Of course, life wasn't perfect, but she would change nothing even if someone would offer her all the money of the world.
Yes, she loved her life.
"Why are ya smilin' like dat ? Thinkin' 'bout me ? " August came towards her and kissed her nose causing his wife to giggle like a teenage girl. He was happy to still have this effect on her. Their marriage was getting stronger each and every day. He was so grateful to have find the perfect woman, his perfect woman. She was all he ever wanted in a wife. Without her, his happiness wouldn't be existent, "Do ya know how much I luhh ya ? "
She hummed smiling, "A lot ? "
"Ta' dat moon and back. Ya and the kids are everythin' ta' me." He pecked her lips several times.
"I feel the exact same. How was it yesterday ? "
He nodded, "Good. We talked and talked...and talked." They chuckled, "We laid everythin' we had on our heart on the table."
Since that dad/daughter date two weeks ago with August and Shay, they had others to help to repair their relationship and sometimes Aug III was joining them, and it was really beneficial for them three. They were re-connecting and rebuilding their trust together.
She beamed, "I proud of you three."
