Ninjago The Lost Deities

A/N Book Changes

! A/N ][ Important information !

Heir: So as you might have noticed, there are some clear changes to the book. The first one I'll explain is the title change, as you have or have not noticed, the book has been changed from the Lost source, to The Lost Deities.

I am responsible(with Snow's approval) for this change and as I explained to Snow I'll explain to you, the reader.

The reason for such a small but effective change is, The Lost Source would imply that no one knows what they power/source for elements, but that is not true as the source dragons, Shutendoji, La Notervelia, Ra(FSM) and Shutendoji's Letters(ex. R and X) know that Nalia is a source-kin(a term I coined for any oc that is half-source dragon). So that's not Lost, and adding on that they know Nalia has sand powers and is openly known as the Elemental master of sand, so it helps make this change.

And adding on to that, when you change something as simple as just,"Source," to what we decided on being, Deities, it gives you that feeling that,"oh, well they don't seem to know that they are divine," or,"well they must not know how to do godly/divine acts like other gods/deities than." It was a simple way to make it feel much better to showcase the characters.

Now to the next point, Why is the description/synopsis changed? Snow will explain that part to you all.

Snow: Yeah, as Heir said here I've given them my approval for these changes, so I don't have anything against it for those that might think otherwise.

Also, the new cover you all see was fully made by Heir! Heir did all of the cover on his own, I have no credit for anything related to this new cover! He worked really hard and We both think it came out amazing!

But, now for the description/synopsis change, since we decided on changing the title along with the story, the old one didn't real fit into it anymore so we went on to change it a little bit so it still had a hint of the original but with a mix of the new changes on what me and Heir did together with how the story is now going.

Now I feel like some of you may ask,"Why is Valez now mentioned in the synopsis/description?" Heir will explain that point to you, next.

Heir: Indeed, that is mostly on most of your minds for why Valez is also mentioned in it as she appeared in season 4, not earlier.

To explain that, I will have to be vague as some have not read anything in season 5 or 4 yet so I will be subtracting a lot of details.

To put it simply, Nalia and Valez will be from now on, sharing the role of Main character/main person in the story, and I cannot reveal as it would be spoilers for some so you'll have to read to find out that answer.

To quell any worries of re-reading, No, you will not have to re-read the whole book as everything from before S4 E3, which is when I became co-author and partner in crime of Snow, will remain the exact same.

Now, we have some very exciting news, don't we Snow?

Snow: Yup, the big news we have here is.. drum rolls please!! A 3rd BOOK!!

Heir: Indeed! I have more so taken the reins for this book but it will still be published under Snow's name/account!

The new book we have will be much different from the other 2(more so 1 for me) that we've done! In this Ninjago book, It is what I like to call,"Fan-alternation" of the series itself!

What do I mean when I say,"Fan-alternation?" Well I'll explain that!

A fan-alternation is when a fanfiction writer takes the original series of the book but changes around a lot of the actual canon of the story while it will remain true to it.

An example I can give is, Let's say the Green Ninja Prophecy had 3 different ninja's instead of just the green ninja and they weren't destined to defeat the dark lord, they now had a chance to either win the fight or to let the true person win the fight against instead of the Dark lord, The King of absence!

That is a very very general way to explain that. With this new book, Every episode, every season will be altered in some way, new scenes, different times of things, completely replaced locations, different episode titles, new season's in place of others, the just list keeps going on to where I can't even say everything that is to be changed!

So, We can't wait for you guys to read that when we are ready to publish the first bits of it!

And! Do not Worry! Both This book and Snow's personal writing of Nova's story will still be happening as I am mostly going to be working on the 3rd book as My OC in it is the Main Plot Point character in it instead of Snows!(yes we have talked about this a lot behind the scenes and we both agreed it was a good idea and fine.)

And I cannot say much but, This Book and the Lost Deities may hold a few connections to each other perhaps, And possibly even more than just connections? >:3
