Lord Jesus,

I was about to take my life.

I told myself, "Pagkatapos ng klase, I'll end everything."

But here I am, writing...

8 hours ago, I didn't even believe that You do hear my prayers.

But now I am certain. YOU ARE REAL.

I thank You for the life of those two women street preachers. If they didn't obey Your call, I won't hear the good news of salvation. It was never my works. It was never how I did things. It's all about what You did on that cross.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

After I've heard that verse and after they've explained that it is only by grace... it is as if every fear and anxiety was gone.

I am loved. Thousands of years ago, you showed me that love... by dying on that cross, You have saved me.

I am free.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then, you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
