As they walked back to the farmhouse, the warm sun on Brianna's skin and the gentle breeze rustling her hair, she felt at peace. Caleb's presence was comforting, his easy smile and kind eyes making her feel like she belonged.

As they approached the farmhouse, Ruth called out from the kitchen window, "How's the car?"

"Fixed!" Caleb replied.

Brianna smiled, grateful.

Inside, Ruth had prepared sandwiches and lemonade. "Let's eat on the porch," she suggested. As they sat down, Caleb asked Brianna about her life in New York. She shared stories of her bakery, her passion for creating sweet treats.

Caleb listened attentively, his eyes sparkling with interest.

"I'd love to try your baking sometime," he said.

Brianna laughed. "Maybe next time you're in New York."

Their conversations flowed effortlessly.

After finishing their lunch, Caleb leaned forward, his eyes locked on Brianna's. "Would you like to take a walk with me?" he asked.

Brianna agreed.

Hand in hand, they strolled through the rolling hills and lush green fields. The sun cast a warm glow over the landscape.

As they walked, Caleb pointed out wildflowers, and Brianna laughed at his stories.

Their hands touched, sending shivers down Brianna's spine.

Caleb's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "You make me feel alive, Brianna."

Brianna's heart skipped a beat.

"Stay tonight? Please?" Caleb whispered.

Brianna nodded.

In the silence, their hearts beat as one.
