During the car ride to a restaurant Annie had told me that the man had been checking me out. Mainly my ass but I didn't mind. I should mind because honestly what sane woman would like a gang leader checking them out? Me... unfortunately. I made sure Annie promised not to say anything, especially in front of the girls. Call me cocky but I knew this man wanted me.

We get to the restaurant around dinner time, we get a table by the window, order our first round of drinks and practically inhale those. By the third round were very obviously tipsy. The waitress clears her throat interrupting our conversation, "Can I get you anything else?" she asks.

"Oh, yeah. We're gonna take another round of these pineapple margaritas, please?" Beth orders.

"Extra strong this time." Ruby says.

"And then we also want one of those fried onion things that has, like, the arms that stick out. You know those?" I giggle softly and look up at her.

"Nachos!" Annie cheers.

"Yes." I agree with her, "Nachos, and, um, uh, the, uh, poppers. Yeah. Uh, jalapeño poppers."

"Two orders of those, please. She's a lightweight." Ruby says.

"Are we celebrating today, ladies?" The waitress asked.

Beth nods, "Oh, I would certainly say so. Yeah."

Annie nods with her, "Uh, yeah."

"What's the special occasion?" She asks.

"Oh, we just smuggled a bunch of counterfeit money over the Canadian border and escaped a violent street gang." Beth chuckles.

"And no drսg in our butts." Annie cheers.

"No drսg in our butts!" Ruby grins.

"Yay!" Annie keeps cheering.

I giggle a bit more, "Yay, no drսg in our butts."

"Pretty special, huh? I'll put that right in." she sighs.

I grin, "Thank you."

"Oh, she hates us." Ruby laughs.

"No, I think she loves us." I shake my head and finish my drink.

"Oh, my God." Beth's eyes widened a tiny bit, "How much money do you think that was?" she asked. Her hands on her cheeks.

"It was one bajillion dollars, actually." Annie looks to Beth, her hands holding her cup and mixing the drink inside with a straw.

"I've never seen that much cash in my life. I mean, fake money. But yeah." Beth says.

"Well, I mean, it's real to somebody." Ruby speaks up now.

I nod, "Yeah, but it's no longer our problem."

Ruby raises her drink, "Whoo! So here's to going back to normal life."

"Yes. L'chaim to that." Annie raises her drink also

"Yeah, to a normal life." Beth and I raise our glasses too, we clink them with the other girl's, "Normal life." I say.

Beth slurps her drink looking sad. Ruby puts down her glass and looks at her, "You okay?" she asks.

Ruby's voice catches Beth's attention and she looks up from her drink and looks at Ruby. She puts down her drink and says, "Yeah. I think I'm gonna, um, call the kids, though."

Annie's eyes widened slightly with realization, "Oh, boy, that reminds me. I... We should probably get the check with the food just 'cause, like, you know, to be safe."
