None of us knew what to do. We sent Ruby home to be with her family, Beth's kids stayed with Dean, and Annie's daughter is with her dad this weekend. I had to go into work for a couple hours so Annie and Beth being the kind and loving sisters they said I could leave and they would stand guard.

By the time I get him it's already dark and Ruby's car is already parked outside. I walk inside the house seeing Beth and Annie sitting together where I left them on the stairs. Ruby leans against the stairs railing and looks back at me when I shut the door, "Hey, I bought chili." She points to the kitchen, "Stan made it. It's spicy."

I smile softly and let out a tired sigh, "Thank you. I'm so hungry." I put my bag down and turned to my sisters, "Did you stay up all last night?"

Annie sits up a tad bit, "I mean, she stayed up all night. I slept next to her like a baby."

I take my jacket off, "Is he still out cold?"

Beth hums, "Um, maybe we need, like, smelling salts or something."

Ruby scoffs, "Right, 'cause it's 1892."

I walk over to the girls and lean against the other side of the railing, "You want him to wake up?"

"I want him to not die in my house." Beth says.

I nod in agreement and I'm about to open my mouth to say something when a thump sounds from upstairs. "What the..." I mutter, the wheels turning in my head and then I gasp as my tired mind realizes he is awake. I gasp and push past the girls running upstairs.

"Oh, my God." Beth gasps following behind me.

"His gun." I snap my fingers, lowering my voice and walking quietly down the hall, "Go get his gun."

Annie reaches the top of the stairs, "W... where is it?"

I keep my eyes trained on the bedroom door, "Uh, in the closet." I whisper, "Hurry."

"Okay." she half whispers half shouts, "Where in the linen closet?"

"Where is it?" Ruby asks.

I glance back at Ruby, "Top shelf." I whisper.

Beth moves closer to where Annie is and whispers to her, "Top shelf."

Annie lets out a slight panicked whimper, "There's no gun in here." She looks back at Beth, "Help me look."

Ruby stays outside the bedroom when I push the door open. The man isn't on the bed anymore; instead all that's left is the blood stain he left behind. I walk deeper into the room, the only other door is the bathroom door. I walk towards that. I take a deep breath before I slowly open the door. I flip the lights on and don't see anything until the door is pulled open more, followed by a gun clicking. I gasped and my eyes widened with fear.

"Jade, there's no gun in here." Annie calls out from where she is by the linen closet.

"Found it." I say after a brief second. I raise my hands up and take a step back, he takes a step forwards.

"Where am I?" He asks, putting the gun in my face, "Where am I?" He asks again, his voice rising in volume.

"Uh, my house." Beth says from being me, "You're in my house."

He looks away from me and glances at Beth before quickly putting his eyes back on me as if to make sure I wasn't going to try anything. "Who the hell are you?" He scowls.

"I'm a friend of your friend's." I take another step back trying to put some distance between us, "He thought that you would be safe here."

"I need a car." He says.
