Aquarius' POV

The music is louder now, the bass thumping like a pulse through the floor, and the room is full of laughter, chatter, and the kind of chaos you expect at a party like this. I’m leaning against the wall, people moving past me in every direction, but I’m content to just observe, a drink in hand, my eyes scanning the scene.

That’s when I see her.

Sagittarius.

She’s laughing, her fiery hair bouncing as she’s pulled into a ridiculous dance by Leo, her energy impossible to miss. She’s the kind of person who can make a room feel like an adventure, even on a night like this, when everyone’s just looking to unwind. She moves with the crowd, but there’s something about the way she stands out, even in the middle of a group.

I push off from the wall and walk over, making my way through the chaos. She doesn’t see me coming until I’m right there, standing in her line of sight. The moment our eyes meet, she grins that mischievous grin of hers, the one that always feels like a challenge.

“Hey, Aquarius!” she shouts over the music, already pulling me toward the center of the room. “Come on, I dare you! Let’s see if you can keep up with me!”

I raise an eyebrow, pretending to be reluctant, but the truth is, I’m never one to back down from a dare, especially from Sagittarius. “What, you think I can’t handle it?” I reply, my voice light but confident.

She gives me an exaggerated pout, her eyes sparkling with a mix of challenge and fun. “Well, I’m not sure,” she teases. “But you better prove it, or I’ll never let you hear the end of it.”

I roll my eyes, letting out a mock sigh. “Fine, fine. But don’t say I didn’t warn you when I steal the show.”

She laughs, pulling me further into the heart of the dance floor. We’re surrounded by everyone—Leo is dancing wildly with Libra, Aries and Cancer are off to the side, and the rest of the zodiac seems to be caught up in the same chaotic energy. But with Sagittarius, there’s no time to think. She throws herself into the music like she was born for it, and I can’t help but follow her lead.

We’re jumping, spinning, and laughing, caught in the beat of the song. Sagittarius pulls me into a ridiculous move where we’re spinning in circles, and I nearly lose my balance. “See, I told you I could keep up,” I shout over the music, but she just grins, grabbing my hand and pulling me into yet another spin.

“You’re good, Aquarius,” she says with a wink, then leans in close. “But can you keep up with this?”

Before I can even register what she means, she pulls me into a ridiculous lift, and we both end up laughing as we nearly topple over. The room is spinning, but I’m having the time of my life. It’s the kind of fun I never knew I needed—the kind of moment that makes everything else fade away.

I catch my breath and take a quick glance around the room. Leo is laughing, his arms around Libra as they spin in sync, Cancer and Aries are caught up in a private moment of their own, and even Virgo is shaking her head at how ridiculous we all look. Everyone’s just… living.

Sagittarius grins at me, and for a split second, I can see the wild, free spirit she’s always been. It’s contagious.

“So, are you having fun, or are you just pretending to keep up?” she asks, her tone playful but full of energy.

I can’t help but grin back. “Honestly? I think I’m actually enjoying myself,” I admit, my breath still coming fast from the spinning and dancing.

“Well then,” she says with a mischievous grin, “I guess it’s my turn to teach you how to truly let loose.”

Before I can even ask what she means, she grabs me by the wrist, pulling me into a new chaotic dance that I have no chance of understanding, but somehow, I don’t care.
