I was sick! And then teachers decided to be jerks and give me 11 assignments to do!

And then I sorta got grounded! But then my computer broke!

But then my mom was sick! No excuses but here I am now!

I'm sick now but I didn't want to disappoint!

HERE IT GOES!

Chapter 7 - Silent Stupidity

Damien

Ooof! That sound, ladies and gentlemen, was the sound of my dumbass best friend punching me in the shoulder.

I hate that guy.

"Are you stupid?!" I opened my mouth to retort, but Sam beat me to it, "It was a rhetorical question because I know the answer! Yes! Yes you are! You're a freakin' dumbass!" Sam shouted and signed at this same time, all the while his ears beginning to flare up.

Glaring at him silently, I began to sign back to him. (A/N Remember! Italics mean that Damien is using sign language.)

"I'm not exactly sure what your problem is." I signed with a blank face. I was for the most part serious. I had no clue what I had done, but I also had a hunch that it had something to do with Baila.

Saying what I did, Sam seemed to become angrier than he already was.

"You!" He said waggling his pointer finger at me, his angry face still amusing me, "Don't know what you did?!" Sam continued signing angrily.

"No. Not really." I signed nonchalantly. My calmness seemed to anger Sam even more. I chuckled quietly.

"You depressed Bee!" Sam signed. I sighed, I knew it had something to do with her. It's. ..complicated.

"So?" I queried with an eyebrow raised. I swear if you squinted your eyes and cocked your head to the side, you'd totally see smoke pour out of Sam's ears.

"So?! Four days ago when you met Bee, even though she irritated you, that was the most emotion I've seen come out of you in years! Four days ago when you came home, and I mentioned Bee, you had a smile on your face! And you just want to ditch her like that?! Not to mention now Loren isn't speaking to me!" Sam shouted, forgetting to sign at some points.

"That's what this is all about? You have your hand, you know. Besides, I've only known Baila for five days, four of which I haven't spoken to her in, if anything we're strangers, she can't really be that upset." I signed smirking, I was really pushing Sam's buttons.

"Oh, don't neglect what I said! It doesn't matter how long! Ever heard of love at first sight? You like Bee! And you're not just going to shut her out like that!" Sam said finally calming down, but now pacing furiously around our apartment. When I ran from my dad, Sam was the one who found me, and not to mention housed me. So maybe I should say, his apartment.

"I don't like Bee!" I signed back getting annoyed.

"Oh yeah? Then why the hell did you just shut her out like that out of the blue?" He asked with a smug look on his face. I rubbed a frustrated hand over my face furiously.

"It's complicated!"

"No its not! You're making it more complicated than it needs to be! Why can't you just tell me?" Sam said shouting again.
