MJ comes back to her apartment from her work. She seems rather surprised that her symbiote didn't activate at all.
In bathroom, she looks herself in the mirror, finally using the symbiote to change it into a dress ancient Greeks had and cites:
"Death is not the worst thing; rather, when one who craves death cannot attain even that wish."
MJ remembers Sophocles' play "Electra" and feeling like she was reading her own story.
As she cites books that aren't plays, she decides to write her own story after talking to herself in the mirror, but nothing seems to work well. As she is writing out of frustration, the symbiote comes out like and MJ stops before it could fully cover her body.
She remembers those times when she talked to Peter before they ended high school. One day, they went to his house and Peter asked: "Ever got into plays? You sound like you could be a great actor."
"Funny thing is I used to perform before I moved here. My father wanted to write plays. You don't see him here all the time." - MJ replies.
"You are lucky to have a father who is still alive. Forgive me for such words, but I just miss mine."
MJ looked at him and hugged him. She shed a tear seeing how the loss of Ben Parker influenced Peter.
The memory ends and she goes to the kitchen.
Just when she is about to eat, she gives up and only drinks a glass of water.
Out of boredom, she goes to sleep.
The symbiote comes out again, fully covering her body. Rather than just looking like a latex suit, some parts make it look like it's a skin.
MJ wakes up and sees her arm looking like a blue skin until it starts looking like a latex and thinks to herself: "Is the symbiote just covering me like this until it starts looking like a latex or is it trying to fully bond with me?"
She decides to keep it while sleeping.
