Chapter 17: Search and Rescue

The morning was stiff, the air was dense and as for everyone in town people were worried for the two girls who were once the towns treasures.

Alexander had just woken up to see a search and rescue station outside Brandon's house, Alexander was confused and barely aware of what happended all he remembers was swimming under the stars.

Brandon on the other hand was stressing, pacing around town. His mind was unsettled and he too was. Alexander then walked downstairs to find Brandon talking to an agent from the police force, something to do with a ' search and rescue. '

Alexander then interrupted Brandon as he was confused and what was going on. By now Brandon would tell Alexander to sit as well as he too was a witness to the scene.

By now Alexander had sat, as he was soon interrupted by a man with a black tie suit, a moustache that was overgrown and a firm tone.

" Mr Mars, is this your witness? " the man would say.

Brandon would sigh as he'd say, " yes it is sir. Myself and Brandon we're there last night at the beach. All four of were drinking that night and we decided to walk down the beach and go for a swim. Alexander passed out in the water near me, therefore i decided to take him to the shoreline. After I did that I went back in the water then realised that Elaine and Irebella had disappeared. "

Alexander would sigh as he'd say, " yeah he's saying the truth. I was out of it last night, I mean prior to that I was mixing medication with drinks so no wonder I passed ou- " suddenly Alexander was cut off by the man.

" Ahem, is that so Mr Mars. well you're friend here Alexander seems like the type to be a laugh in general however now is not the time. This is serious and if you won't take the precautions of that then I shall not condemn a search and rescue along the far coast, under the lighthouse, the south side and the eastern coast. Am I clear? "

Brandon would nod, " we understand. You are clear. I hate to be a brute but please sir find the girls. They don't deserve to die, especially not like this. "

The man would put a halt to his sigh, " We understand your concern Mr Mars, but before we do I'll need to question any other witnesses if there is anymore, if not I need to ask Mr Peters here why he passed out, although he already has explained his actions prior I need to know if he passes out often, what type of medication he was taken and as to why. "

Brandon would nod, by now Alexander would nod as well as he'd say, " So... Mr suit sir, what do you need to ask? "

The man with the suit would say, " Mr Peters I need to know your backstory for this case. With these simple questions... do you pass out often, what type of medication did you and why? Truthful answers only Mr Peters. "

Alexander would nod as he'd respond to the questions with, " Sir I rarely pass out, this was a first, oh and the medication I took was some form of substance, a pill I believe but it was issued to me by Nurse Sandra from the hospital a day before the accident happened. I had to take the medication due to a surfing accident. Trust me I have proof the scars on my back. "

The man in the suit would nod, " right. Fair answer Mr Peters. At the end of the day you wouldn't have passed out if you didn't mix drinking with medication. Either way both yourself and Mr Mars have explained your answers, evidence and have proven that you are both non- guiltily of any extra charges that there could have been issued.
