Chapter 28: Home Alone

Sometimes mistakes happen for a reason, especially when it comes to Alexander and Irebella's relationship. One moment, they were in love, inseparable even, and now they barely speak until yesterday. Facing the one person who broke your heart can be the worst or best thing but somehow Irebella knew that she should give Alexander another chance since she wasn't ready to give up on the one boy she loved more than anything. He was the one boy Irebella could rely on more than anything, although they had their fights she always found something to forgive him on after all he wasn't like anyone she had ever dated before.

Alexander on the other hand knew that all those memories of his teenage years were coming back when he broke up with Irebella. He never knew why he broke up with her but something in his mind was ticking like a bomb. He couldn't face her because he thought she had gotten over him but in reality, she never had to begin with. When she left, Alexander had an identity crisis. She was the only girl he ever loved everyone else was just a coping mechanism for everything. When Alexander laid his eyes on her at the hospital he knew life was about to change, he knew he couldn't run anymore from what he had done. The truth was out, reality faced him when he saw her. All those memories with her, all those moments with her and all those conversations were what led them to each other.

(( Irebella's and Alexander's POV ))

Irebella looked at Alexander pondering what had just happened. Was everything different now or was it all a mistake? The conversation on the balcony changed her perspective on everything. She knew she never once lost feelings but now it was clear to her that she was in love. Alexander on the other hand noticed she was pondering why he just kissed her but he knew it was the right decision. It was clear to Alexander his feelings for her were genuine and they weren't just a hoax. Alexander looked over at Irebella cutting the tension between the two.

" Well.. now this is awkward, isn't it? One moment we don't speak for months and now you're sitting in the passenger seat of my car kissing me. " Irebella would give a small grin, giggling by now. " You're making it awkward by saying that Alexander. " Alexander would roll his eyes at Irebella knowing she was right. " Yeah yeah, whatever floats your boat. " After there was silence.

Alexanders phone would begin to ring, interrupting the silence after Alexander spoke. His phone would be on the dashboard in front of Irebella, but before she could reach the phone it had already rung out. Alexander was confused wondering why someone would call him this early in the morning, Irebella thought the same thing. Suddenly the phone rang again surprising the both of them.

Irebella would answer the phone to hear nothing but silence for a moment but after 5 seconds a young girl's voice would speak on the phone. Her voice was high pitched her seemed like it could be old enough to be a teenager speaking. The tone reminded Alexander of someone.

** on the phone **

(( Lara, Lillian, Alexander and Irebella's POV ))

A young teenage girl would be speaking but would be interrupted by another young girl's voice in the background. " Is this the right number?" Alexander and Irebella would exchange confused looks but would then be interrupted before they could reply to the young girl's voices. "Of course, it is otherwise why would we have gone through mum's contacts to find him... " Alexander would interrupt the two girls replying with, "Hello this is Alexander speaking, who is it? " On the other side of the phone line, you could hear a loud cheer coming from the other side of the phone that would be shortly followed by the girl's voices once again. " Took you long enough to answer. We're calling on the home phone but it's Lillian and Lara, you know you're sisters? "

Alexander would look at Irebella rolling his eyes since he didn't have much to do with his two youngest sisters, the last time he saw them was at Christmas and at there 16th birthday. Alexander was confused when he realised something wasn't adding up why would they be calling him out of all people? Alexander would take a deep breath before replying with, " No f- way, didn't know I had sisters, since when. " Alexander would laugh at his joke before the two girls would give a sigh on the other side of the phone. One of the sisters called Lillian would say, "Wait.. he doesn't remember us, Lara! " Lara would laugh at her sister in a dumb folded way, " Of course, he remembers us, Lillian. He's joking otherwise why would he have answered the phone? You seriously need to stop with the sarcasm brother, we just need to speak to you. It's urgent. "
