Hello, Elle here! Thank you for reading Angelus's and Farida's story! It's my first time penning dark romance, so the journey I had with this story was a rollercoaster ride for me. There are times that I often ask myself "Is it too much?", "Isn't this too immoral?", "Isn't this too brutal?", "am I normal writing this scene?" LOL. Those questions always haunt me every time I finish writing a certain scene that is against my beliefs and morals.

I didn't write this story to romanticize the things here. If you only know how hard it was for me to click the publish button every time, lol. But I'm glad that I dared to write this book. I'm very glad huhu.

Honestly, I am not sure if you will learn something from reading this book. I didn't write this to promote lessons; I just wrote this to explore. I wanted to try something different and challenging, and surprisingly, it felt good. This series wasn't even planned thoroughly. I just woke up and thought, "I want to write something taboo and toxic," and boom, hi, Farida and Angelus.

Again, thank you! I know some of you probably didn't like the ending, like, I understand! Aren't we all suckers for happy endings? But it's just that; I can't see them ending up together. Please don't hate me (ง •̀_•́)ง maybe in another life, they're happy ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀).

So, this is the end. I'm finally closing this book and moving to Gunther's story. Yes, Gunther's book is supposedly the last installment of this series, but the plot of his story is keeping me up all night, and my brain will itch for an entire year if I don't write it sooner.

So yeah, see you in Gunther's story! Don't worry, there's no one dying again. (◡ ω ◡)

Sending lots of love and hugs, with consent, of course! (っ.❛ ᴗ ❛.)っ

EDITED:

Who would've thought I'd give them a happy ending after months of going back and forth on it? Like I said, this book gave me a lot of choices to sit with. One of them was Angelus being presumed dead for years, Farida dealing with amnesia, and Angelus eventually finding his way back after all that time.

And now, that's the ending I chose.

I truly believe Angelus had to die, but I also had to consider Farida's happiness. It felt unfair to deny them that, especially when the other Griegos are meant to have their own happy endings. Why should Angelus be the exception?

I still think the original ending was perfect. I understand why some believe it should have stayed that way, with Angelus remaining dead. But Farida is deeply personal to me. A part of her comes from me, and she deserves happiness after everything she's been through.

So, that's it.

It's a happy ending.

Thank you.
