The creature's roars of grief can be heard throughout the city.
Meanwhile, somewhere in an office building.
*Humming*
Akiko walks down the hall, holding a stack of paper.
Akiko: Okay... This goes to... Department A? Haven't been there for a while... At least not since it burned down.
???: Akiko!!!
Akiko looks back and sees a girl running toward her, waving her hand in the air.
Akiko: Oh hey...
???: Hello! What's up? You look like you're not happy to see me!
Akiko: I am...
???: Then what's up? You seem embarrassed.
Akiko: It's just... Seeing your idiotic face is making me remember what happened...

???: Hmm?
Akiko: The night we both went drinking...

Akiko: We...

Akiko sighs.
Akiko: You kissed me!

???: No no don't make things up.
Akiko: You're denying it?!
???: I don't remember that. I remember drinking but never kissing.
Akiko: I swear it happened!
???: Are you sure?
...
Akiko: I'll help you remember!
???: Huh? How?
Akiko holds her coworkers' hands.
Akiko: Anything?
???: Not really...
Akiko presses her body up against her coworker.
Akiko: How about now?

???: Yeah... I get it...
Akiko: Aurora...
Aurora: Yes...?
Akiko: We shouldn't...
Akiko steps back.
Aurora: Uh... Yeah... So, did that really happen?
Akiko: Yes, it did... I kinda wish you remembered...
Aurora: Sorry for disappointing you...

There's an awkward silence.

The building shakes.
Aurora: What was that?!
Akiko looks out the window.
Akiko: It can't be... Zack, what's happening?
Back at the apartment complex.
GRAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!
Zack: Please!!! Calm down!!!
Ashley: She's losing it!!
Zack: I know...!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Zack: SHUT.... UPPPP!!!

Zack's voice echoes through the air.
The creature finally stays silent.
Ashley: That worked...
Zack holds his hand out towards the creature. The creature lies flat on the ground, allowing Zack to rub its head.
Zack: It's okay... Greif, all you want, Mama...
Tears start streaming down the creature's face.
Zack: That's it... Breath... In... And out...
The creature's breathing and whimpering and be heard throughout the city.
Zack: Hey... Your daughter said something... Wanna know? She called me a monster... She wasn't far off... She tried running towards you, but I stopped her... I'm sorry...
"It's fine..."
Zack: Huh...?
Zack looks at one of the creatures' eyes.
"I accept your apology. I know you meant well. Thank you..."
Zack: Of course...
Life fades from the creature's eyes.
Zack: You two are together now…
