Chapter XXXVIII [Part 4] - I Don't Wanna Break; (Y/n)

Human!Bonnie's POV

Right after the performer took a now, she turned off her hologram projector, grabbed it, and jumped off the stage in one swift movement. Freddy, being unusually nervous, approached Stella. His knees were trembling ever so slightly as he took his last step towards the girl. "M-may I have a word with y-you?" asked the bear in a stuttery voice.

He got a nod in response and pulled the girl down one of the hallways. I looked at the (h/c) haired girl who was standing next to me and asked her a question. "Do you want to start now?" (Y/n) had a face showing mixed emotions that I couldn't tell. Instead of actually trying to read her, I waited for her reply, which was given a few seconds later. "As much as I'd like less people watching me, I think it would be better if we are complete."

I chuckled at her considerate attitude and kissed her forehead. Soon enough, Freddy and Stella came back. The girl had a happy smirk on, while the poor Fazbear had his blushing problem on again. I wonder what happened. Might as well ask one of them. Or maybe not.

(Y/n)'s POV

Two of the idiots came back from one of the hallways. Both of them had different expressions pinned on their faces: a smirk and an embarrassed smile. Did Freddy ask her out? Might as well ask him. I told Bonnie that I'll just tell Stella to prepare the music and excused myself. I went closer to Freddy and asked him a simple question.

"You told her?" He smiled brighter and answered me. "Yes. In fact, I asked her out." Good for you, I thought you would never find the courage to. "She said she'll give it a shot," he continued. "I'm proud. You just came from wanting to kill her to loving her excessively," I commented. He nodded and gave me a signal that I should already start singing.

Stella started the music and I grabbed and climbed on. There was hardly an instrumental introduction, which meant that I had to sing fast. I interpreted the lyrics using simple hand movements, that was until the chorus started.

"Woke up such a bad dream
Istayed, you were leaving
With my heart, you were stealing
I don't care, I'd let you take it"

This song was matching with my relationship with Bonnie. Except for the second line, of course. I felt quite confident about my performance and decided to put more effort into it. By his expression, I could tell my bunny was very impressed.

" Showed up, like a good girl
I fell for your fable
But I'm no Cinderella
I don't care, I'd let you take it"

Of course, I am not Cinderella. My life isn't some weird fairytale with some weird time traveling people trying to destroy it. But my problem here is, I'm not always a 'good girl', considering that I'm constantly cursing.

" Put us back together
You said, it's forever
But I know you're pretending
I don't care, I'd let you take it
All again..."

I know that he isn't pretending, he nearly got killed for not denying his love. But if he is, I'll never stop loving him. Love isn't asking for something in return, it's asking for someone else's happiness over your own. But that type if love isn't what you want.

" And I just wanna love you
Don't wanna lose me
Don't wanna lose you, whoa oh
If it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your"

The last word of that part was intentionally cut off and skipped. It directly went on to continue the chorus.

" I just wanna love you
Don't wanna lose me
Don't wanna lose you, whoa oh
If it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your"

The next five lines were just the same last the last few. And yet, the last word was still not present. The audience was delighted by the calming tune of the song of my choice. It's wasn't like Chica's, which was too harsh on the piano's side, nor was it like Stella's, which was too much on the pop and rock side.

" Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh
(Don't wanna break in your)"

" And if it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your arms"

It's true. Wouldn't it be best to break down in the arms of someone you can trust? There, the missing word was finally revealed.

" Sometimes, when I'm sleeping
I still, feel you breathing
You stole, all my good dreams
I don't care, I'd let you take it"

Bonnie smiled once again. A smile that could light up a city that's having a black out. I know, I'm exaggerating with all these cheesy lines. I can't care less now.

" Come on, listen closely
To the sound, that our love made
If you go, I would follow
I don't care, I'd let you take it,
All again... mmmm"

Those who have never experienced the romantic type of love might have no idea what this means. Love does indeed make a sound. Although, it can't be heard, it can only be felt by the heart/s.

" I just wanna love you
Don't wanna lose me
Don't wanna lose you, whoa oh
If it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your"

The chorus had came once again. Nothing actually changed, though. All of the words were the same, from it's arrangement to it's placement. However, the word "arms" was removed.

" I just wanna love you
Don't wanna lose me
Don't wanna lose you, whoa oh
If it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your"

" Whoa oh oh, whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your)
Whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your arms)
Whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your)
Whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your arms)
Whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your arms)
Whoa oh oh (Don't wanna break in your arms)
Whoa oh oh, whoa oh"

The actual words formed were only whispers and could hardly be heard. Most of the audible sounds were just "whoa oh oh" repeated over and over again.I can tell that the audience didn't mind. Stella and Bonnie were both cheering loudly and clapping as well. Just like a gift given back....

" I just wanna love you
Don't wanna lose me
Don't wanna lose you, whoa oh
If it gets harder
Then I don't wanna break all alone
I wanna break in your arms"

I knew the song had to come to an end sooner or later, but it did end nicely. Not like Chica's, which was too silent of an ending, nor like Stella's, which seemed like a loud angry ending. Mine was calm yet was medium-low in volume.

I took a bow and received the full applause. The cheer was quite good and lively as I jumped off the wooden stage and hugged the lilac haired boy. Man, what a night this turned out to be. And it was beautiful, eh?
