"It looks like someone tried to take a bite out of you," Beel said through a mouthful of food he had stolen off one of his brother's plates.
"I think I would know if someone would have tried that," I laughed, my voice having a clear waiver. I felt my face aflame, probably close to the shade of a tomato.
"Oh~, I bet it was that one male friend of yours, Eli," Asmo teased. My eyes blew wide. "You have the wrong-"
"MC, just because I allow you to bring him into this house, does not mean that you can mess around with him in your room," Lucifer said sternly. I stuttered, trying to defend myself. I couldn't. The words wouldn't come out.
A bunch of accusations and arguments were thrown around as I glanced toward Mammon, whose face was full of indecisive embarrassment. I gave him pleading eyes. He huffed and stood up, slamming the table with his fist as he stood up.
"Listen up! I was the one who but that mark there, ya hear? Don't go spreading false rumors, especially about MC," Mammon said boldly, and everyone went silent for a moment. Asmo snickered, then the entire table erupted with laughs. Even Lucifer had an amused look on his face, his eyebrow quirked up.
"Pfft, yeah right. Nice try Mammon," Asmo said, wiping a tear from his eye.
"I'm not lyin'!" Mammon defended, getting frustrated. I spoke up.
"It's true. It was him," I muttered, the brothers immediately stopped and looked from Mammon to me. Their faces were in various stages of shock, and Mammon smiled in triumph.
"Ha! Told ya. I would never lie about somethin' like that," Mammon stated. I buried my hands in my face, thoroughly embarrassed.
"Awe, Mammon is lucky. I wanna taste of MC, too!" Asmo pouted. Levi mumbled something about normies, Satan investing himself further into a book, gripping it quite tightly. Beel ate some food, looking confused, bordering on hurt. Lucifer had his eyes narrowed on Mammon, then sighed and looked away. I shifted uncomfortably, standing up and excusing myself. I walked to my room, mindlessly rubbing the mark on my neck. They almost seemed upset...?
I entered my room, thoroughly embarrassed and very tired. I flopped onto my bed, sighing deeply. I had such a fun day with Mammon, but then dinner was just exhausting. I rolled over, staring at a wall.
He.....lp....me.....
I sat up in my bed, looking around. Did I hear that right? I sat for a moment, listening. I didn't hear anything again, and I chalked it up to exhaustion. I laid back down, closing my eyes, slowly drifting into a restless slumber.

I woke up with a start. My eyes took a moment to adjust, then I realized I wasn't in my room. I gasped, standing up. I was in a seemingly endless room, the ends fading to black. I looked around, my body beginning to shake.
"Hello?" I called tentatively. My voice was quiet, barely a whisper. It almost seemed to echo, slowly dying out. It was all too loud for this environment, yet so quiet.
"Hello," a voice suddenly responded. I jumped, looking around quickly. Once I turned around, there was a figure. His face was hidden, as if hidden by darkness. He was wearing a blue sweater that was messily buttoned, and some sickly shade of greenish-yellow pants. I gazed at him, squinting my eyes to see his face. No luck.
"Who are you?" I asked cautiously.
"I'm a human, like you. I need your help," he said, matter-of-factly. "I'm trapped."
"Is this a dream? Is this even real?" I asked.
"Technically, yes, but I am reaching out to you," he said, yawning. I narrowed my eyes, confused.
