TWO; SO MUCH AWKWARD
"How do you not have a problem with starting school in the middle of the semester?" Bella asked as she drove up to Forks High School, going to the parking lot.
Cassadee shrugged, "if you listened to me before then you would've started in the beginning." She said as Bella parking the truck, right in front of and next to socializing students. "Great, people." She sighed as she got out of the vehicle.
"Nice ride." A black teenage boy said to the girls, obviously making fun of the truck.
"No one asked for your opinion." Cassadee told the boy as she shut the door and Bella made her way to the other side of the truck.
"Wow, you have amazing social skills." Bella sassed as the two made their way to the school.
"Yeah, well, you're one to talk." Cassadee sassed back as they made their way up the stairs. "Besides, I'm almost positive I'll hate everyone here." She said as she looked at the students that were looking at the twins. "God, everyone is so damn nosy."
"I don't think they get new students here often." Bella pointed out as she pulled her schedule out of her pocket.
"You're Isabella and Cassadee Swan, the new girls." An Asian guy stopped the two. "Hi, I'm Eric, the eyes and ears of this place." He smiled as the three started walking again. "Anything you need, tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on?"
"I'm really kind of the more suffer-in-silence type." Bella told Eric.
"And I just don't trust anyone enough to tell my problems to." Cassadee pointed out bluntly.
"Good headline for your feature. I'm on the paper, and your news, baby, front page."
"No we're not." Cassadee and Bella replied in unison.
"You... please don't have any sort of..." Bella stuttered, resulting in Cassadee literally almost face palming.
"Chillax. No feature." Eric reassured.
"Okay, thanks." Bella smiled, relief washing over her features.
"Is this place really so boring that that there is to talk about is the new students?" Cassadee asked Eric.
"Sorry for my sister," Bella said before Eric could respond.
"I'm not." Cassadee said, making a face at her sister. "I'm gonna go find my locker, come on, baby sis." She said as she began walking down the hall.
Bella rolled her eyes and followed her sister. "You're only ten minutes older."
Cassadee turned to look at her sister. "And don't ever forget it."
"How could I? You literally ever let me forget it." Bella grumbled.
Cassadee turned around when she bumped into someone, seeing a tall, pale blonde teenage boy. The blonde guy smiled down at the brunette. "You must be the famous Cassadee Swan."
Cassadee raised a brow, "who the hell are you?"
The guy laughed, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, I'm Jasper Hale."
"Well do you want to explain to me why I'm 'famous'?" Cassadee questioned, crossing her arms over her chest.
"You're new here. We don't get new students often. Or at all, really." Jasper stated, watching Cassadee as she huffed, making some of her hair fly in front of her face.
"Of course," Cassadee rolled her eyes. "Well Jasper Hale, just call me Cass or Cassie. It really doesn't matter to me. Whichever you prefer." Cassadee shook her head. "God, I'm rambling. If I get extremely awkward and start tripping on air just punch me in the face please because-" Cassadee stopped speaking, feeling a sudden wave of calmness wash over her. "I swear to God I'm not this awkward. My sister is the awkward one, I'm the chill twin."
