ONE; SASSY SWAN'S REUNITE

Cassadee didn't think that Forks was a bad place. Sure, it was small, with a population of 3,120 people, and fairly boring unless you had a car to drive hours to somewhere interesting, but Cassadee didn't mind. All she really needed was a television and Wi-Fi and she would be fine.

"Y'know, I'm starting to think that you came with me because you didn't want to be alone with Mom all the time." Cassadee said as she and Bella walked through the airport with their luggage.

"Mom isn't that bad." Bella said, defending her best friend.

"No," Cassadee agreed. "But she hovers. And we both hate that." Cassadee pointed out as she looked around for their father, Charlie.

Cassadee smiled when she found her father, walking faster so that she could hug him for the first time in just over a year. It wasn't really hard to find him, Forks Airport wasn't half as crowded as any other airport that Cassadee had been to. Plus, Charlie was wearing his police uniform.

"There's my Sassy Cassie." Charlie said once Cassadee reached him, his grin mirrored his daughters as she wrapped her arms around him. "I missed you, Cassie." He squeezed her into his chest before kissing her head and letting her go, ready to greet Bella.

"Hey, Bells." Charlie smiled, pulling Bella into him for a few seconds before letting her go. Charlie and Bella's relationship was nothing like his and Cassadee's. He and Cassadee were way more comfortable around each other, seeing as they spent way more time together as she grew up while Bella has probably only spent a year out of her whole life around Charlie.

"Let's get you girls home so you can get settled in. You have school tomorrow." Charlie said, taking a bag from each of the girls before turning to walk out of building.

"Is this the only car you have?" Cassadee asked as Charlie walked over to the police cruiser, putting her and Bella's bags and suitcases in the trunk.

"If you have a problem then you can walk home." Charlie said, smiling at his eldest daughter.

"I would but then who would provide the stimulating conversation?" Cassadee sassed back with a sweet smile before looking at her sister. "I still get shotgun." She said before turning and walking to the passenger seat.

"You have not changed one bit." Charlie told Cassadee as he closed his trunk and Bella got in the backseat.

"And I was just wondering in case I need to make a trip somewhere." Cassadee paused to think, "not that I plan on going anywhere. Unless it's to get food. Actually, do you know what sounds good? Subway, is there a Subway here?"

Charlie shook his head. "There's no Subway here."

"What?! You're the chief of police, can't you do something about that?" She asked, obviously not being serious, even though she would miss the sandwiches.

"Oh my God, Cass." Bella muttered from the backseat, tired of listening to her sister talk about random things over the last four hours.

"Oh yeah, let me just get the President on the phone real quick." Charlie sassed, ignoring Bella's annoyance.

Cassadee clicked her tongue as she looked at her father before she gave him a wide grin. "I missed you so much."

"Your hair is longer." Charlie said, looking in the rearview mirror at Bella.

"I cut it since the last time I saw you." Bella said, touching the ends of her hair.

"Oh." Charlie paused, not knowing what to say. "I guess it grew out again."
