Barry woke up and saw Leah sleeping beside him and their dogs on top of his bed he smiled he then put his arm around his girlfriend and looked at the clock it was four in the morning he placed his head close to hers and kissed her head. "Barry, you ok" she whispered "yeah, just woke up checking time gonna try sleep for another hour before fully get up to work, go back to sleep L" he said back. She turned to her other side but rested her head on his chest hand around his stomach.

Barry was talking to Jess and Dr Grayson but he left them to it, Barry smiled at himself knowing Jess would be annoyed at him. Barry then was called to help a kid who had fallen, but Barry looked at the kid's father and saw an angry look and glared at the kid. Barry shook his head, "if you could stay out here so I can check on your son" Barry said, the kid's father left as Barry closed the door he was happy Jess came in. "So what is your name slugger" Barry said using the word his Dad called him. "My name is Sam Higgins" the boy said, "can you tell me how you fell again" Barry asked, "um" Sam started but went pale.

Barry saw more bruises on the boy's arms and back, "what happened here" Barry asked, Sam said nothing, Barry and Jess looked at each other, "Jess could you get Sharon please" he asked and she nodded and left, Barry went and sat down "kid is your father doing this, don't say anything if it true" Barry said and the kid did not say anything. "Thank you, we can help you, my Friend nurse Jess is bringing the head person here you might have to answer some question" Barry told Sam. 

Jess and Sharon entered, "Sam Higgins, my name is Sharon Watson head of this building hope my doctors treating you right" she smiled, he nodded with a small smile, "Nurse Jess told me about these bruises on your back and arms" Sharon said. "Dr Allen said you could help me" Sam asked "we can try but first of all did your father do these" Sharon answered with a question "yeah for a couple of years now it hurts I don't want to die" he cried, Barry felt angry "why would you think that" Sharon asked. 

"He said if I told anyone I would die" he says looking down, Sharon went on her phone and texted social service to come by. "Would you mind if I hurt your father" Barry asked the boy nodded. Barry went out "Can I take him home now" the father asked, "no because he ain't going anywhere with you ever again" Barry put his hand up and brought the security off "could you keep him here social service is on its way" Barry then punch Sam's Father "YOU WILL NEVER LAY A HAND ON YOUR SON EVER AGAIN, PEOPLE LIKE YOU SHOULD BE LOCKED UP FOREVER" Barry shouted shocking everyone.

Barry then went back to his patient, Jess saw an angry look on her best friend and sigh, "relax doctor Allen" said Jess he took a breather before relaxing "thank you nurse Jess, and that is why you my best friend" he smiled, they heard a laugh from Sam. The social service came and so did the police and took Sam's father away, Barry went over to the worker of Social Service "he will get in good place right"  Barry asked "of course he will, here have my number so I can keep you inform" the woman said with a smile. 

Barry went on his honkers "here is my phone number if you ever need anything" Barry said, Sam went and hugged Barry, "thank you Doctor Allen" he said before hugging Jess and Sharon before taking hold of the woman's hand. "You did a nice thing Allen" said Jess and smile he sigh "he needs good people show him good things" Barry said. 

After work

Barry returned home and fed Ace before starting make his own dinner,just then door opened see Leah coming with Luna she went over to Barry making him laugh. "Hey Babe, I was wondering if you could look after Luna as me and Ashly going out" Leah asked with a smile, he nodded "sure L" he answered and Leah kissed his cheek, "thank you, I am going to get change" she said and left Barry, "so I am babysitting you then Luna" he laugh.
