Chapter 10: Adam's missing part 4. Jay's investigation of Zilpah.

With Zilpah Halstead in Portland, Maine, with her husband Lenny Leavine and her brother's best friend, Adam Bob Ruzek.

Adam had just got dressed in a red sweatshirt with a pair of red sweatpants.

Zilpah had just given birth to 4 boys, Jason Zach, Mike Keth, Sunny Kenny, and Omar Christopher before She kinapped Adam.

The babies are 2 months old now, and Adam is the one who watches babies and goes to his job as a cop when he is not needed.

Zilpah comes home to a clean house, and the babies are already asleep in their cribs.

Zilpah said," Thank you for watching the babies Adam and cleaning the house for us.

Adam said," No problem, and why was I reported missing, Zilpah, and can go home?

Zilpah knew that she had to lie to Adam Ruzek and said his friends didn't care about him and that they weren't looking for him.

Zilpah said," I don't know Adam. They won't ever find you here. You're safe with me. Maybe they lied to the cops to get attention.

Adam said," Okay. I'm heading to work now.

Zilpah said," Okay, Adam. Be safe at work.

Adam said," I will. See you guys tomorrow.

Zilpah said," See you tomorrow, Adam.

Adam headed to work, and Harvey came home and spent time with his wife and kids.

Jay's investigation into his sister Zilpah was not going the way he had expected it to.

Jay's learned that Zilpah was involved in Adam's disappearance even though he was hoping she wouldn't be able to be involved.

Jay was looking at the footage from the restaurant, and it showed Zilpah putting sleeping pills in Adam's Dr. Pepper.

Jay calls Hank and says," I know she's involved. There's a video of her drugging Adam's drink with sleeping pills, Hank.

Hank said," I'm sorry to hear that, Jay. I know you were hoping she wasn't involved.

Jay said," I can't cope with this anymore, Hank. She needs to leave Adam alone. I get that she's in love with him, but he doesn't feel the same way, and she needs to understand that or otherwise she will get hurt and I'm not letting her destroy his life.

Hank said," I agree, Jay. She needs help, too.

Jay said," I know, but she doesn't want help.

Hank said," I understand, Jay. I really do.

Jay headed home to his fiancée Lydia Cruz, and they spent time together, and then Jay made them dinner and dessert.

He did the dishes, put away the leftovers, and started the dishwasher for the night.

Lydia got a shower, dressed in PJ’S, brushed her teeth, and headed to bed for the night.
