"SHES NOT WRONG" Leena agreed with Leah, the four girls were still sitting in Leena's room.
Dior looks up from her phone and nods "Yeah, everyone can see how you and Walker look at eachother. It's so adorable"
Maisy could feel her cheeks start to burn up at the girls words "You guys are crazy, me and Walker are just friends" She dismissed them.
The three other girls shared a look with eachother before going back to whatever they were doing "Okay then, but that still doesn't seem to stop Walker from ranting about you days on end" Leena said as if it wasn't a big deal.
If Maisy was a dog, you would be able to see her ears perk up as if her owner said the word 'treat,' or 'walk.' "What? He talks about me?" She asked way too quickly then blushed when she realized how desperate that sounded.
A collection of light giggles erupted in the group again and Leena nodded "He talks about you literally every second he gets the chance, he's so whipped"
Maisy looked at the blonde girl and shook her head, refusing to believe her. She too, talked about Walker every chance she got but she wasn't gonna admit that. Even though it was already known to everyone since they were the victims of both Maisy's and Walker's rants about eachother.
"I'm sure it's just him being nice" Maisy tries to convince herself more than trying to convince them.
The girls let out a laugh of disbelief and 2 out of the 3 of them rolled their eyes at their friend's poor excuse. They couldn't believe she was actually that oblivious.
"Okay, whatever you say" Leena shrugs and turns off the lights before grabbing the remote and turning on her tv "What movie do you guys wanna watch?"
As Leah and Dior started putting out suggestions, Maisy stayed quiet as she got tucked in next to them on the bed. It was a tight fit on Leena's twin size bed but they always made it work.
She couldn't get her mind off of what Leena said. Walker already always was the main thing flowing through her mind, but hearing that information consumed her whole body. What did he say about her? Was it nice? Did he make fun of her?
The other girls chatter stopped which made Maisy snap out of her thought of train about the blonde boy, she glanced at all of them before focusing on the movie and realizing it was one of her favorites, 10 things i hate about you.

As for Walker, he kept glancing at his floor where Aryan and Charlie were sprawled out with blankets messily draped over their bodies as they slept. Unlike his older sister, he didn't feel the need, in his words, 'to share his luxurious bed with his friends' so he always made them sleep on the floor. Which, they never minded.
The movie they were also watching had ended an hour ago and Walker still couldn't seem to fall asleep. As usual, a certain brunette girl engulfed his mind. The amount of sleep he lost after realizing how down bad he was for Maisy was certainly not normal, at least he thought.
It was crazy to him how someone could impact you so much that you lose sleep just thinking about them. And Maisy being in the next room over but not right next to him in his bed was driving him insane and he didn't know why.
He shifted onto his side for probably the 50th time with a sigh. His day had also consumed his thoughts, he was so grateful that Maisy could be here to celebrate his birthday with him today.
Then, he remembered the unopened gift Maisy had given to him but told him not to open it until she was gone. Walker quietly got up, careful to not step on any sleeping boys before grabbing the bag and sitting back down on his bed.
He reached into it and pulled out a batman lego set with a note taped to it, he would be lying if he said it didn't make him absolutely geek. He loved how Maisy respected and encouraged his passions, even if she always thought spiderman was better.
He grabbed the note, careful to not rip it as he pulled the tape off of it. He took it out of the envelope and unfolded it before beginning to read it. In her delicate handwriting, the note read:
Happy 15th birthday Walker!!!!
If you're reading this, it means that i have already surprised you and given you your gifts (which i hope you love btw). Also, your real gift is custom deadpool jordan's I JUST HAD TO TELL YOU. Let me know if you don't like it and i'll give you something else. Ok i'm gonna try and make this quick because i'm writing this during a soccer game, but i am soooo glad that we met. I don't know what i ever did for the universe to have rewarded me with you. CHEESY I KNOW. Don't bully me when you see me, i beg. But it's true. I seriously do not know how i would've ever finished these past years somewhat sane if it weren't for you. Becoming friends with you is easily one of the best things that have ever happened to me. I am forever grateful for Rick Riordan for writing percy jackson & casting you and Charlie in the same series LMAOOOO.
Your seriously one of my favorite people on this earth and i'm so speechless on how we haven't been in each others lives sooner. I hope you know that this now means that your never getting rid of me of me WOMP WOMP! I've never felt so connected to someone so quickly so i think that must be a sign that you're special. You're the best person i've ever met and i'm so honored that you've decided to stick around so far. Our conversations are the highlight of my days and you always know how to make me feel better.
SO, what i'm trying to say is i hope you had the best time today!!! You truly deserve the best birthday and the best day always. I am completely in awe of you every single day. You never fail to amaze me. Thanks for being you. Happy 15th birthday Scobell!!!!!

Walker smiled to himself after reading the note. He continued to smile as he folded the paper back up and took off his phonecase, putting the piece of paper in between his phone and the phonecase so he can carry the note with him everywhere he goes.
Then, he continued to smile as he unlocked his phone and went to Maisy's contact before clicking on it and sending her a message.
