MAISY STOOD BACKSTAGE while watching Mckenna preform her last song before their duet. She was nervous, like barf in a bowl nervous. This would be her first time ever doing something this big. And what made it even worse was that Walker was in the crowd with the others and not next to her, reassuring her that she was gonna do amazing.
She leant against the wall, her anxiety getting worse as she waited for Mckenna to give the cue so she could go on stage.
"You thought it was over?" Mckenna laughs jokingly to the crowd "Don't leave yet, i have one more surprise for you guys and maybe..even.. a special guest?" She questioned.
Walker smiled as he listened to Mckenna, knowing Maisy would come on soon. As he stood next to Charlie, Aryan, Leah, Dior, and Leena, he couldn't get his mind off of his girlfriend as usual. He knew she was nervous, even though she told him she wasn't. He knew her so well, he could tell from the moment they woke up this morning that she was scared for this. It pained him he couldn't be with her right now reassuring her. So, he pulled out his phone and sent a quick message to her to let her know everything is gonna go great.
"This special guest is.. a very very special one" Mckenna says "She has been my bestfriend since we were kids, she means the world to me, she is truly so so talented and just so genuine. She makes everyone feel so accepted and i've never met a person that's easier to be around than she is. So when she finally agreed to write a song with me, i was so excited" Mckenna smiles "Some of you may know her, but some may don't. Either way, everyone welcome my bestfriend, Maisy Bushnell!!"
Hearing Mckennas words melted her heart. But then hearing how loud the crowd got, Maisy almost turned away and went home right then and there. But, seeing the text from Walker somehow helped her gain all her confidence back. He always knew when he needed her most and he always knew what to say when she was upset. So, onto the stage she went. She screams and cheers got louder as she came into sight.
Walker had the proudest smile on his face that all the others had too as he watched the love of his life get the praise she's always deserved by the fans. She had that adorable smile on her face that he loved so so much. She looked beautiful, her black dress doing her justice. And Walker loved it, he knew he had hit the jackpot with a girl as beautiful and as sweet as her. He thanked god everyday for sending her to him. Maisy Bushnell was everything Walker ever needed, and as long as he had her, his life was perfect.
After Maisy hugged her estatic bestfriend, she waved at the crowd and smiled "Oh my gosh, hi guys" The crowd immediately erupted again making Maisy laugh and cover her mouth.
