Tasia's POV
We were pulling up to Taraji's house and I didn't know what emotion I felt at the moment knowing she let this man stay here but, I've been working on not jumping to conclusions and just trusting her because at least she told me... LATE... but still she said something so I'll let her off the hook this one time.
We both got out the car and walked up to the door and I stood there waiting for her to unlock it and when she opened the laughters of the twins were heard she looked back outside I'm guessing checking for Ryan's car then her face scrunched up realizing that it wasn't out there and she looked at and I looked back at her shrugging my shoulders hell if I know.
Low and behold the twins were here we walked into the living room to see them laughing with Shazza as he took turns throwing them both in the air.
"Where's Ryan?" Taraji spoke up gaining all of their attention and Khy immediately ran over followed by Khelani who jumped out that man's arms over to us I picked up Khy while Taraji picked up Lani and I leaned over to give her a kiss and Taraji did the same.
"Damn just walking up on folks now and she's upstairs"
"Oh now why are you still here I told you to be gone before I got back" she told him
"I know that it was just that on my way out though I ran into them and I just couldn't leave knowing they were here and I wanted to spend some time with them which is why I rented out a place for a few days I wanna get a chance to know at least something about them and let them have something to remember me by" he said with that little grin of his.
"Well here's something Khy is just as hard headed as his daddy and Lani let's just say she has her Nana in her and they can always remember you as the dumbass who their dad went with instead of here with them the first two years of their life I'm sure that's the memory of a lifetime to remember you by" she said and I bumped her with my shoulder I don't like the man but that was still kind of harsh
"Taraji don't be like that" I told her
"Yeah Cookie Monster don't be like that. What's a sweet thing like you doing with this evil little women"
"Didn't I tell you stop calling me that and you think she was so sweet this morning when she wanted to let your ass know you had to go and I may be little but my bullets aren't and I'd be careful if I was you because some of them I reserved especially for you with your name on it hallow-point just the way you like them" she said and I just shook my head at how she just threw me under the bus.
"Well as we can see he knows that he have to get up out of here no more spending a night here over my dead body"
"So when do I shoot you?" He asked and my mouth dropped him catching me off guard and I had to think for a minute trying to remember if piece was in my purse because I'll be damned if I let him shoot me first
