In the Mushroom Kingdom, there's many toads. All toads had different colors. Blue, Red, Yellow, Purple, and Green. They each all have different personalities.
Blue is loyalty, Red is leadership, Yellow is joyful, Purple is sassy, and Green is helpfulness. There are thousands of toads. Hence the name of the kingdom.
They've all helped out the kingdom and the princess, Princess Peach. She watches all the toads to make sure they're helping others.
You were a different Toad. A Gray Toad. You weren't as joyful as the others; you were quieter than the others. You kept to yourself most of the time.
Other times, Peach was by your side. She was interested in you. She said that you were a special toad.
You don't know why you're special. You're just a regular Toad. During that time, the toads were fascinated by you, never seen a gray toad before.
They were very friendly to you. You wished that you could express more emotions. You always give them a small sleepy smile, giving you a nickname. Sleepy.
It was a regular day in the Mushroom Kingdom, all the toads doing their tasks, hanging out, or helping the princess. You were sitting down watching the toads, already done with your task for today.
While sitting down, you see other toads wave at you with a smile. You sleepily waved back with a small smile.
You hear small little cheers coming from the hallway, noticing that it was the princess. She waved and acknowledged the toads, smiling at them.
She then walked towards you, having a sweet smile on her face. She lifted her hand and placed it on your head, giving you small, gentle head pats. You lean into her touch.
''Hello Sleepy, how've you been?'' she spoke in a soft tone. You were so special to her; you didn't even know it. You spoke to her back in a quiet tone. ''Hey princess. I've been doing fine...''
She sat next to you and scooted closer to you. Why was she so close to you? Doesn't she have other toads to look out for?
''What are you doing...? I thought you had work to do instead of worrying about me...?" She then giggled, not understanding why she was. You were her special toad, her one and only Toad.
''I just wanted to see what you were doing. You're always by yourself, and I wanted to see you,'' she said as her bright, blue eyes stared down at you.
''Oh... ok'' you said quietly. Why was she staring down at you like that? Before you can say anything, a red and blue toad came towards you two.
''Princess! the Mario Brothers are here!'' Said the Red toad. ''Yeah, they wanted to see why they called you.'' a blue toad added.
'The Mario Bros... who are they?' you thought. Peach frowned for a second before turning to the two toads with a strained smile.
''Oh... they're here already... Well, thank you toads for reminding me, I'll go see them now'' She got up and walked to the doors as she turned towards you.
''I'll see you later, Sleepy'' she said with a sickly, sweet tone. You sleepily waved at her.
When she was gone from your sight, you got up and slowly walked outside of the back of the castle. You found it relaxing to sleep outside.
Sitting on the big mushroom, your eyelids getting heavier with each step you took. Laying softly on the mushroom, you fell into a peaceful sleep.
