"Shedeur"
(Shuh-deer)°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
Ever since that night, Shedeur and Y/N had been inseparable. Every memory felt incomplete if they weren't side by side, as if the world shifted to fit just them. Their bond was effortless, a quiet understanding that didn't need words. In stolen moments, whispered secrets, and late-night conversations, they built a world only they could share—a bond wrapped in loyalty and hidden truths.
For them, the outside world faded. All that mattered was the connection they'd forged, a private promise to be each other's constant in a world that was always changing. And even as they kept things low-key, that spark between them was undeniable, hinting at something deeper that neither could fully put into words.
Like most afternoons, you found yourself in Shedeur's dorm, sneaking in a quick rendezvous between classes. He'd had early morning training, and your day had started with 8 a.m. classes, so these afternoons were the sweet spot—the rare time when both your schedules aligned, and the rest of campus was too busy to notice. The quiet of his room, with sunlight streaming in and the world moving on outside, felt like your own secret escape. You were wrapped in his oversized shirt, his familiar scent all around you as he pulled you close, his hand resting on your hip, his lips grazing yours in a way that made you feel like nothing else existed.
The air was thick, every touch slow and careful as if time had slowed down just for the two of you. You could feel the tension building, his hand drifting up your back, his lips moving softly against yours. It was perfect—until the door swung open.
"Oh sh—" Zion stood frozen in the doorway, eyes wide as he took in the scene. The silence that followed was painfully awkward, your face going hot while Shedeur just muttered, "Damn, n*****, could've knocked."
"Uh, yeah, my bad," Zion stammered, clearly trying to act unfazed as he quickly ducked into their bathroom, shutting the door with a soft click.
You let out a breath you hadn't realized you were holding, pulling away from Shedeur with a nervous laugh, quickly moving to get dressed. Fastening your jeans, your cheeks still warm from the near-disaster. Shedeur just watched you with that familiar smirk, his gaze lingering as he said, "Guess we'll have to finish this another time, huh?"
You couldn't help but grin back, brushing a kiss to his cheek as you got yourself together. Zion's footsteps echoed in the bathroom as you slipped out, leaving Shedeur alone to finally let out the breath he'd been holding and face the aftermath of their not-so-kept secret.
As if on cue, the bathroom door creaked open, and Zion stepped out, giving Shedeur a look that was half-amused, half-annoyed. He leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, eyebrow raised as he stared at his friend.
"You just don't listen, do you?" Zion shook his head, a smirk forming.
Shedeur shrugged, trying to play it cool even though his face couldn't hide the embarrassment. "Man, I told you I had someone over. Maybe you're the one who doesn't listen."
Zion rolled his eyes, smirk widening. "Bruh, if 'someone over' means half-naked and making out in my bed, I would've definitely stayed gone longer. You're lucky it was me walking in, not Coach."
Shedeur laughed, rubbing a hand over his face. "Aight, you got me. But it wasn't supposed to get that... uh, serious."
Zion raised an eyebrow, putting his keys on his desk. "Could've fooled me. You know the risk you're taking here, right? Coach already has eyes everywhere. If he finds out you're sneaking around with his daughter, it's over. He'll have your head, and probably mine for covering you."
