Your Name
My stomach was in knots I couldn't believe he was standing in my living room facing my father.
"Honey are you okay," my mother questioned while rubbing my back, "You look like you've seen a ghost."
It took a minute for me to formulate an answer before running my sweaty palms against my dress.
"Um, I'm going to the bathroom," I told her while slowly walking from the scene.
Escaping into the bathroom I stared at my reflection in absolute disbelief. I flushed the toilet to pretend I had used the restroom and turned on the sink bluffing to wash my hands. ——
I couldn't dare look her in the eyes although they were burning deep holes into my face. She was trying to figure me out but, I couldn't keep contact in order for her to do so.
A nervous wreck indeed I was praying that this dinner would be cut short. He kept a straight face and calm demeanor the whole time even proceeding to make conversation with me.
The sad thing about it was he brought her and it didn't help that she looked amazing in what she was wearing.
"So how old are you Yn," she asked.
I looked up from the food that I had messed over I was way to uneasy to eat. "I'm seventeen."
She smiled, "I remember being seventeen so exciting." I wanted to roll my eyes but I returned the fake smile as she side-eyed me.
I could sense the shade anybody sitting there could.
"Can I be excused I'm not feeling well," I asked as my father looking at me raising his eyebrow. He nodded in my direction and I got up from my seat. ——
Micheal
I could sense her uneasiness the whole dinner. Lauren was staring at her suspiciously and pestering her with questions.
Lauren wasn't a fool and I knew she could sense the tension and odd behavior from us both. Watching her leave the dining room I grabbed the glass filled with expensive wine.
Taking a sip I waited a few minutes before saying, "Where is the bathroom located?"
"First room down the hall on your left," Mrs. Taylor answered as I smiled and nodded. Getting up I'm straighten my tie while disappearing down the hall.
Walking further I passed the bathroom up I was really looking her room. It was the last door in the hall I recognized the soft pink walls.
Peaking in she laid flat on her back with her hands covering her face. She was upset.
She has the right to be this should've ended months ago.
"Please leave and take that bitch with you," she snapped I was taken back. "How I was supposed to know your father is James Taylor," I asked as she sat up chuckling.
Tears coated those pretty eyes and her cheeks were puffy and slightly pink. "It doesn't matter Micheal," she argued, "None of how we ended up here matters. What matters is how you strung me along this whole time."
"I couldn't have unknowingly led you on if you followed. You knew I was married Yn," I stated slightly raising my voice.
It was hard saying that but it was the truth she knew about Lauren I'd been open about my relationship status this entire time.
"Stop playing these mind games with me Micheal are you leaving her or not," she asked now rising from her position. We stood face to face and it was hard looking her in the eyes.
"I'm not."

It took way..to long for me to update I know I went on a hiatus for a bit. I need an emotion break so to say. But I'm back and my mind is clear and full of ideas.
The wait is over. I hope this wasn't complex to read I wanted to try a first person narrative to captivate everything. The next part I write if I do decide to continue will be the last part!
