"Where have you been," Your mother asked as she stood over the stove cooking per usual.
"Out," you answered dryly before sitting down your car keys on the marble countertop.
Jogging up the stairs you entered your bedroom that was decorated in pinks and grays.
Falling down against your bed you shut your eyes tightly. You hated it at home especially because it was where your father never was.
He was so indulged in work he never had time for you or anyone for that matter.
Feeling yourself drift to sleep light pecks on your bedroom door startled you.
Fluttering your eyes opening you were met with your mother.
"Can you lose the attitude just for tonight your father has a business partner coming for dinner," She explained causing you to roll your eyes, "we all need you on your best behavior."
With that being said she quietly dismissed herself.
You hated how everything was always a fucking act. Even when it wasn't hard to tell no one inside the home was happy.

"He invited us for dinner," Lauren asked while sitting at her vanity finishing her makeup.
"Yeah he said he wanted to get to know me and my family," Micheal answered while looping his belt through his expensive dress pants.
"Dose he have kids?"
"A seventeen year old daughter is as much as I know," Micheal replied. Stepping inside the bathroom he looked over his attire smoothing out his white button up.
Feeling arms snake around his body he was met with Lauren's chocolate brown orbs.
"You look handsome," she complimented as Micheal turned his neck in exchange of a kiss.
"Thanks baby."
