Ace's pov:

We asked the owner of the building if he could grant us access to the CCTV room, and luckily he agreed because he knew Zayn

"Here it is, when you are done please call me", the owner calmly said, then he left the room

"Claws do your thing", I instructed.
Claws kept fidgeting with the computer until the footage from minutes ago showed on the screen

And there he was, Aliba
"Is this him?", Claws asked for validation, so I nodded
"Ace he is the waiter", Claws suddenly said
"What?", Cruise asked
"He is the same man who bumped into Ashley earlier and spilled the drink on her", Claws responded
"Which means..."
"-it was all planned out", Cruise said, finishing my sentence
"And hey look here..", Claws said, zooming in on the footage, "-he didn't even trip on anything. The plan was to initially make Ashley go to the bathroom", he added
"I was there, I could have protected her, but once again, I'm a failure",I said, clenching my jaw
"I don't think you could have done anything Ace, this man seems to be smarter than we think. Now the question is, why would he kidnap Ashley? What's the motive behind all of this?",Claws said, curiosity striking in his eyes
"There's no motive, he is a dumb guy probably looking for revenge. When people look at our mafia they admire yet envy it, he's one of those people Claws", I said
"Are you sure?", Claws asked
"I'm telling you aren't I?", I responded
"Let me go tell the owner that we are done here", Claws said, leaving the room, Cruise and I trailing from behind

"No motive?", Cruise whispered
"Listen Aliba does not know Ashley, he must have randomly seen her with me and just thou..."
"..you are underestimating him Ace, and you know what his motive is, so it will be better if you admit it sooner and do something about it", Cruise said, interrupting me from finishing my sentence

We rushed home and got our guns ready. We might not know where Ashley is currently, but we have to prepare.
I called in a few of my men, including Fari and Viper.

Catie was at school, and was not coming home any time sooner so I wasn't worried about her finding the guns on the table. By the time she comes back, we would have already packed everything away

"We don't even know about Ashley's whereabouts, so what's the use of doing this?", Cruise asked
"Aliba will make the first move, and when he does that we should be prepared at any cost",I said
"I know but...", Cruise got interrupted by a phone call
It was my phone, and yet again, the phone call was from an unknown number. I gestured with my hand for my men to go, as I answered the call

"You!", I said, with my fists clenched
"I haven't even said anything, and yet you already know it's me. Well that's bad", he said, and I could sense the sarcasm in his tone
"What do you want?", I asked angrily
"Straight to the point, I like that. But the better question is, where are we, isn't it?", he said
"Where the fuck is Ashley?", I said, losing my patience
"Where it all started Ace...", he paused, then said, "-home"
Before I could say anything, he hung up on me once again

"Aliba?", Cruise asked
"Yes", I sighed
Suddenly, I heard a sound of glass breaking, and when I turned to see the cause of this, I saw Marie.
She just stood there, her body not moving at all, surrounded with pieces of broken glass on the floor

"A-Ali-Aliba", she stuttered, but managed to say.
"Marie what are you doing here?",I asked worridly, as I sat her down on the couch beside us
"Was he here Ace?", she asked
"You should go rest", I said, trying to avoid her question
"He was here wasn't he?",she asked, and judging by her facial expression, I knew she already knew the answer
"Where are they?", Cruise asked
"Pack your bags, we are going to Italy", I said
"They are in Italy?", Viper asked, and I nodded
"Fuck! How did they even reach Italy so fast?", Cruise yelled
"Pecks of having a private jet", I uttered
"Let's go pack", Claws said, and one by one, they left the room
