The camera zoomed in on Lisa's face as he was speaking and everyone saw the red marks on his neck.
"What did I just see?!! Are those hickeys?!!!"
"My gosh! Boss is so wild to put those many hickeys on CEO's neck! I bet that there are more on other parts of his body."
"Boss is wild but CEO is wilder! He didn't even make an effort to cover them up. Is he showing off? Is he?! He is, right?! I bet he is!"
Behind the cameras, Alison almost tore off all her hair in anxiety from reading the comments. She immediately contacted JLV Studio's PR Department.
Bam, who was standing nearby, heard her instructions. He told her not to panic and that everything was within CEO Manoban's plans.
Although Alison trusted Lisa's capabilities, she still couldn't relax without taking any productive actions herself. She directed JLV Studio's PR Department to coordinate with Lisa's own PR team, only to discover that this was already Lisa's original plan to begin with. Indeed, Bam was right. Everything was within CEO Manoban's plans. She could only sigh in admiration. This kind of capable man is the husband of her artist, Jennie Kim.
Back to the livestream, Lisa was pleased and even smug upon reading some of the comments that noticed the hickeys his wife left on his neck. For a moment, he was tempted to lift up his shirt to show off the other hickeys on his body but restrained himself. His wife could be as possessive of him as he was of her.
Jennie didn't speak much. Her role was the guest of honour since the entire special contest was dedicated to her. Lisa was the official host of the event.
The camera moved from the couple on the loveseat to the smiling Wonjae who waved at all the viewers. He volunteered to serve as the emcee because he enjoyed the role.
"Hello! My name is Wonjae, Boss' bestest friend forevah and evah, assistant extraordinaire, and fabulous beauty king!"
All the local Black Stars knew him.
"Jae, the Beauty King! Fabulous as always!"
"Jae, where did you buy your high-heeled boots? I want them!"
As for the Singaporean Black Stars, this was the first time for most of them to learn about his identity as Jennie's assistant and best friend.
"What a stylish assistant! I didn't expect that Boss will have a male best friend."
The Filipino Black Stars had the biggest reactions. Their comments flooded the screen in a fast pace.
"My fellowman! Proud of you!"
"Cousin Jae! Hurry up and announce the winners!"
"Seeing a fellowman doing well in another country makes me feel so proud."
Jae was in his element. As a chatterbox, he never ran out of things to say. Even without reading the script on the teleprompter, he was still able to make many entertaining adlibs that made everyone laugh.
"The fabulous moi will be representing Boss' super-duper handsome husband, CEO Manoban, current head of the biggest multinational company, Manoban Corporation, in announcing the talented winners and giving out the amazing prizes in his special contest in honour of his wife, our one and only Boss Jennie Kim! We have received a total of 1,001,296 entries from three different participating countries!
Big applause.
"I know, right? More than a million entries? Isn't that amazing or what?! Wohoo!"
Jae smiled and continued, "There are so many prizes that it will take an entire week of nonstop livestreaming if we announce the winners one by one, especially since Sir Boss Manoban kept on adding more prizes when we established the first two international offshoots of the Black Stars in Singapore and the Philippines. That's why we're only going to announce the most notable finalists and winners today. The rest will receive a call from us. Just take a look at the number of prizes. They literally formed three freaking mountains!"
He swept his manicured hands in the air. The camera panned over the prizes stacked together. Seeing all the items made the viewers incredibly excited.
Then Clover wheeled a cart carrying one of the latest high-performance computer gaming set. She used her hands and expression that were as expressive as her brother's to showcase the first prize to be given away.
"There will be a total of 30 of this same computer gaming set that will be given away right now!" Jae announced. "We will be showing five of the best entries who'll win this computer gaming set in this livestream. As for the other winning entries, please check them on the contest's official website. Enjoy!"
Everyone watched the five entries. This was also the first time that Jennie was watching any of the entries. Lisa wanted everything to be a surprise.
"I chose those five myself after Louis, Luka, and the other virtual assistants helped in screening all the entries," Lisa told his wife.
"I love them, hon," she said, continuing to watch.
There was a makeup artist who painted his face to look almost exactly like Jennie. It was amazing to watch a masculine-looking man transform into a stunning female.
A comedy parody of her music video with V for the song "Passionate Flames".
A beautiful and emotional moving sand-art of the film version of "Phantom of Your Love" for the award-winning movie "Strong Yet Broken".
An adorable band of children aged between 6 and 10 impersonating Jennie and the Pandemonium band members while singing "Monster of Insanity".
A college choir singing an impressive acoustic rendition of "Rebirth."
As more prizes were announced including cash and brand new cars, more entries were shown. Jennie cried on a good number of them. Lisa comforted her with a loving embrace. She also laughed at most of them, delighted at the amazing creativity of the Black Stars who created memorable tributes for her.
When the livestream was about to end, Jennie suddenly said, "To express my gratitude to all of you, I want to sing a special song. This time, it's dedicated to all of you, my beloved loyal fans, the Black Stars."
