"Scarlett..."
"Hello?" I called out into the darkness. I couldn't see anything, it was dark and no matter how far or for how long I ran, I wasn't going anywhere. "Kael? Cyan? Michael? Mikaela? Mom? Dad? River? Niko? Is anyone there?"
"You're all alone here Scarlett," the creepy voice said. "This, is my world!"
"Cut it out, this isn't funny guys! Come on now you've had your fun!"
Spine-chilling laughter rang out from all around me, causing the hair on my neck to stand. Then, I heard footsteps behind me and turned around, coming face to face with demon who'd very nearly killed me.
"Reina," I said, my voice surprisingly calm.
She cocked her head to the side, her long, buttery golden hair swaying as she did. Her chocolate brown eyes held the fake innocence I had once been naive enough to fall for.
"Scarlett!" She cried, sounding like a delightful child. "How long it's been! Oh, how I've missed-"
Then her whole expression morphed into one of sarcasm laced with a subtle hint of malice.
"- making your life hell. "
Her voice and expression morphed back into innocence.
"We had fun, didn't we?" She enthused. "You, me, Mikaela, and Michelangelo! Oh, the good old days."
She sighed longingly.
"What are you doing here Reina? Where are we?" I asked.
"Somewhere where I'M in control. You seem really happy here, at IUSTEM," she remarked. "You even met Michael, oh- and Kael."
"Don't call him that!" I hissed.
"Are you jealous maybe?" She asked. "I was his first girlfriend, his first kiss, though you may have beaten me at the first love thing. How do my leftovers taste?"
"Say one more word about Kael, Reina, I dare you!" I growled.
"What will you do, hmm? Will you try to hurt me? As if!"
"What have I ever done to you?" I asked. "What did I do to deserve this?"
Her face turned mean and haggish, like she was about to jump up at me and claw my eyes out.
"YOU CAME BETWEEN MICHELANGELO AND I!" She screeched, her voice shooting through two octaves.
"I didn't know!" I screamed back. "And you could have told me you liked him! I would have backed off!"
"Well it's too late now bestie," she sneered. "I'm coming for you. ALL of you. Count your days friend, because they're numbered."
My face drained of blood. I knew that she was capable of killing. I mean, she did almost drown me, and almost shot Mikaela.
"N-n-n-no!" I said. "Reina please, don't do this! This is between you and me, please! Please, please, please,.please, please!"
Suddenly, there was more than one Reina. They surrounded me, and it was creeping me out. Then, they started to get closer. They're hands reached out to touch me.
"Stay away from me!" I screamed.
I tried to hit them, but my arms passed right through them. Their hands took hold of me, and I started sinking into something, being pulled down. They're bone chilling laughter filled the air around me.
