And then one day,
She took her spectacles off

Her eyes got blured
While HIS never felt so focused

After a while Dhruv stop the car and pulled over near a small dhabba by the side of the road. The aroma of sizzling food filled the air and people were seated at wooden tables enjoying their meals. Abhimanyu turned his head toward Dhruv with confused gaze as he was about to step out of the car.

"Why we stop here?" Abhimanyu asked, his gaze filled with confusion.

"Subah se kuch khaya nahi hai inhon.." dhruv started, but before he could finish his sentence, he realized what the hell he just said and hurriedly changed his words.

("She haven't eaten anything since morning.")

"M-Mera matlab.. subah se meine kuch khaya nahi hai.. haan!! haan meine kuch nahi khaya hai.." he stammered, trying to cover up his slip of the tongue.

("I mean to say ... I haven't eaten anything since morning... yes!! Yes, I haven't eaten anything.")

Abhimanyu raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smirk spreading across his face as he caught Dhruv's slip.

"Ohh inhone huhh.." Abhimanyu said with wiggling eyebrows making dhruv to look towards him wth pissed off expression and without saying anything he came out of the car.

"Abh inko kya hua?" Manvi asked to Abhimanyu with confused gaze after seeing dhruv going out with frustrated expression.

(Now what happen to him?)

"Areyy bhabhi jii!! abhi tak toh aapko samjh jana chahiye tha ki aapka jo pati hai na woh chalta firta volcanic eruption hai kab fatt jaye kisko kya Pata?" Abhimanyu said making manvi to look towards him with confused expression.

("Oh, sister-in-law!! By now, you should have understood that your husband is like a walking, talking volcanic eruption. Who knows when he might erupt?")

"Areyy kuch nahi chaliye thodi pet puja kar lete hain," Abhimanyu said with a wink trying to lighten the mood.

("Oh, forget it, let's just have something to eat first.")

"Aap waise bhi bhooki hongi aur ek acche devar ke hone naate humne aapke danav jaise pati se lada aur yaha rukwaya nahi toh woh rukne ko maan hi nahi raha tha!" Abhimanyu said making manvi to smile widely as she was really hungry.

("You must be hungry anyway, and as a good brother-in-law, I fought with your demon-like husband and stopped him here, otherwise, he wouldn't have agreed to stop.")

"Aww aap bahut acche hai devar jii thank youu." Manvi said while smiling making Abhimanyu to scratch the back of his neck with shyness

"Abh mein itna bhi kuch khas nahi" he said with shy smile making manvi to giggle at antics.

Soon, they approached the seating area of the dhabba and settled themself their before calling someone to place their order.

"Bhabhi aap order kar lijiye aapko jo khana haii " Abhimanyu said while looking towards manvi making her to node her head with excitement.

("Sister-in-law, please order whatever food you want.")

"Bhaiya ek plate samosa, 5 aloo ka paratha, rasgulla, aur jalebi bhi le aaiye," manvi announced enthusiastically making Abhimanyu eyes widen withs shock.
