Anjana held Aarohi at arm's length, gazing at her with tears-filled eyes."How could I not recognize you? You're the spitting image of your mother."

She pulled Aarohi back into a tight hug, her voice trembling."Tell me, beta, how is Sirat? Where is she? Is she coming?"

Aarohi's voice trembled as she met Anjana's gaze. "Aunty,She got into an accident and now she's in a coma."

Anjana's face crumpled, her body shaking uncontrollably. "What?" she whispered, her voice shattered.

Aryan and Shravan rushed to support her, holding her upright as she collapsed into their arms.

"How is this possible?" Anjana pleaded, her eyes desperate for answers.
Aarohi took a deep breath and began to explain, her voice cracking with emotion.
"Aunty,It happened twelve years back,Mom was in an accident, she tumbled down the temple stairs,She fell into Coma, and hasn't woken up since."

Anjana's face contorted in anguish, her eyes brimming with tears.

We were in Mumbai for her treatment, but due to some reasons we had to shift back to Udaipur.

Anjana's sobs intensified, her body shaking uncontrollably. "How could I leave her?
I always wanted her to stay with me."

Aarohi,Aryan, and Shravan listened intently as Anjana's words poured out.

"I begged her not to marry into that family, but she wouldn't listen. His family never liked her,
but Sirat was stubborn. Now look at her...lying in a coma."

Anjana's voice cracked, guilt and regret etched on her face.

"I was angry with her at first, but I never stopped loving her.My sister,my dear Sirat..."

Aarohi knelt beside Anjana, her eyes filled with reassurance."Aunty, don't worry. Mumma is getting better. She's responding well to treatment, and top neurologists are taking care of her."

Anjana's tears slowed, replaced by a glimmer of hope."Really, beta?"she whispered, her voice trembling.

Aarohi nodded vigorously. "Yes, Aunty. Mumma will be back to normal soon. I promise."

"I want to see her," Anjana pleaded, her eyes brimming with tears. "Will you take me to her?"

Aarohi nodded sympathetically."Of course, Aunty. But I need to check with Mumma's consultant first. She's highly susceptible to infections, so visitors are restricted."

Anjana's face contorted with concern.

"Don't worry, Aunty," Aarohi reassured."I'll get permission. They're very strict about allowing only authorized visitors, but I'll make sure it's arranged."

Anjana nodded, her tears finally subsiding after hours of crying.Composing herself, she gently grasped Aarohi's hands and drew her closer.

"Sit beside me, beta," Anjana said, her voice soft and warm.

Aarohi obeyed,her eyes still misty.

"Don't call me Aunty, beta," Anjana continued, her gaze loving."Call me Maa. I'm your mother's sister, and I'm just like your mother."

Aarohi's face lit up with a tender smile."Maa,"she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Anjana's eyes welled up again, but this time with joy. She enveloped Aarohi in a tight hug.
Aarohi's curiosity was palpable. "Maa, tell me about Mumma. Her dreams, her life before...How did you lose touch?"
