In the room of the girls of the Rivers Clan. There was a commotion. Everyone was getting ready to say goodbye to the soldiers.

And of course to King Edward. It was a pleasant day. Everyone had now arrived outside. And everyone was carrying a white rose.

Elizabeth and Jacquetta were the last to go. Everyone lined up. They were all wearing colors that were blue or similar. There they came. The soldiers with King Edward rode along the path. And came to a stop in front of them. Edward and Warwick were right at the front. Everyone from the Rivers Clan bowed.

"My men, your grace, are all sworn to you," said Richard and pointed to his subordinates who he had equipped for war. "I will never forget your help," said Edward to Richard.

"Especially when it came out of nowhere. Tell me, if I scratch this rose, will I find its true red color underneath?" Warwick asked Richard mockingly.

"Leave it, Warwick," said Edward and dismounted from his horse. Elizabeth was about to go to him and into the bag of gold when Jacquetta stopped her.

And she slowly gave him the bag. Edward also went towards her. "We give you this too to support you," said Jacquetta and handed him the bag and went to her husband. Now only Elizabeth and Edward were standing there.

"You never got over your defeat in Towton. And always hoped that Mad Henry would ascend to the throne again," Warwick mocked Richard. "It seems to me that we can do what we want, Warwick in your eyes..." said Richard to Warwick, who was still sitting on his horse.

"I can't sleep. Not a single night since I last saw you," said Edward, who was now standing a little out of the action, to Elizabeth.

"Me neither," Elizabeth replied, her eyes looking down. "I can't eat either," he said, looking down. "No," said Elizabeth, with a small smile on her lips.

"Because of me?" asked Edward, looking at Elizabeth. "Yes," she said. "So this is love? Is this what it feels like?" asked Edward. He had only heard of the love between his parents and didn't think he would ever have it.

"I don't know. I thought you were experienced in love?" Elizabeth asked Edward, who was known as a womanizer. "No, not in love," he replied, laughing.

"I can't possibly ride into battle like this. I have to have you even if you don't want to be my mistress. Then you have to be my wife," Edward said to Elizabeth, hoping that she would say yes.

"Don't be kidding," Elizabeth said to him. "Marry me. There was no other way. I'm crazy about you. Will you be my wife?" Edward then asked Elizabeth, who hopefully would say yes. Elizabeth didn't know what she was going to say, so she just nodded.

She was overjoyed. "Yes," she said. "Tomorrow at sunrise. Come to your chapel and bring your mother as a witness. I'll bring the chaplain and my sister. We have to keep it a secret for a while," said Edward.

Warwick's and Richard's argument, whatever you want to call it, hasn't stopped yet. "I'm really far below you," said Richard, who was standing on the ground, to Warwick, who was sitting on the horse. Warwick just laughed.

"May we offer you something to eat?" asked Richard, his future son-in-law, who he didn't even know about. Elizabeth was so happy she had taken the man she loved and who loved her.

"No, but I'll eat with you tomorrow if I may. We'll be nearby for a few hours on the hunt while the last men are being recruited," said Edward.

"Ah, and one more thing. I'd like to bring my sister over tomorrow. I'd like to show her the troops. And I'd like to leave her with you while I'm hunting, it would be too dangerous for her," replied Edward to Richard.
