014. Hostility

It's 7:07 AM in the morning, not too long ago I was asleep with this sweet fox... Well, this sweet fox who becomes pretty angry when a certain hedgehog appears in front of him. I'm standing in between them right now... I would have thought Sonic would be more apologetic but no... It seems he doesn't look peachy at all. As a matter of fact he looks just as angry as Tails...

"I've been calling you since 9 last night" Sonic says, showing Tails all the missed calls on his phone.

"How did you know where I was" Tails growls.

"The team tracker. You know, the thing you invented so we could all rendezvous whenever we're needed" Sonic responds, the hedgehog pinches his nose, "Tails it's been almost another month since we..."

Sonic sees Winter standing there which is why he paused

"...He told me everything already. I won't say anything to anyone though" Winter says, grinning nervously.

Sonic grumbles and turns back to Tails, "We tried this dating thing with one another and it didn't work out! You act like I've been using you for my own pleasure, which by the way was never ever my intention! Never was! I apologised to you several times and you still keep behaving like this! Treating me like this!... If I had known this was gonna happen, I wouldn't have said yes to you when you asked if we could start dating in the first place!"

"The point is Sonic! I loved you and I thought you loved me too! I wanted to have a future with you! I wanted to maybe starts something beautiful with you! But you're the one who crushed my heart, ruined something good!... Destroyed the beautiful world I had worked so hard to rebuild! I actually thought about ending myself! And if I hadn't met Winter maybe I would have!"

"I never wanted to hurt you! I just thought what we were doing was dangerous!"

"It was harmless love how is that dangerous!? We're you only afraid of us getting caught?!"

"Yes! Yes I was!"

"You're such a baby!" Tails shouts.

"Look who's talking!" Sonic fires back.

"You're more worried about your reputation being crushed than having someone who actually fucking loves you!" Tails shouts, the urge to attack him becomes harder to control.

"It wasn't just my reputation on the line! So was yours, how do you think the whole world would react if they found out you sought the relationship in me?! They would definitely not take that well at all!" Sonic shouts, also finding it hard to not want to punch him.

Tails growls and inches closer to Sonic, Sonic steps back incase he decides to take a swing at him.

"Why are you so selfish?! Of course you'd only care about how people see you! That's the only thing you could care about, not the other boy who fucking looked up to you and loved you more than anything else in the world!"

Frustrated that he wasn't getting through to Tails, cracks start forming in Sonic's patience as the both of them grow angrier with eachother.

"Oh that's funny... If I'm selfish that makes you a reckless little dumbass who doesn't understand the concept of how love actually fucking works!... And I thought you were the smart one! Clearly not!"

"I'm reckless?!" Tails laughs hysterically for a moment, "You're the one who didn't consider how I would take it if you broke up with me the way you did! If anyone is a dumbass here it's you! You souless pathetic asshole!"

Winter could feel they were going to get physical any moment so he finally steps in.

"Okay! I think that's enough shouting this early in the morning!" Winter says, stepping in between them to stop them from attacking eachother, "Do I need to remind you that you're in a residential area?!"
