Leaving the Jungle of Misery they all continued down the trail, though Hazel couldn't tell for certain since all around them were just trees and plants...
And that feeling of being watched never really left, it still lingers closely behind.

"Do you think the beast will find Sid?"
Crash questions worriedly as Eddie adds on; "Or more importantly, us?"

"Rudy?"

Buck stops as he turns back; "Are you joking?"

He then gets right up in their face getting all dramatic; "His relentless;" wraps his arms around the two pulling them in closer; "He knows all, sees all, eats all~"

Pulls away from them and goes back to the front with a casual expression; "So that's a yes."

The herd stare right past him terrified, Crash shakily points ahead, causing Buck to turn and see a pair of eyes staring back at them, and without hesitation;

"Ey!; Get off my lawn!!"

The "eyes" were actually part of the wings of a giant butterfly who did just that, and flew into the sky without any urgency as everyone watched on.

"I knew that guy when he was a caterpillar;" Buck mentions nonchalantly as he walked away; "you know, before he came out."

Everyone walked after him as Hazel stood watching the butterfly leave her view;
Crazy to think they really were living on top of an entire world, it made her wonder how far it stretched out, or just how many creatures roam the pathways.

Shaking her head, she goes to catch up with the rest of the herd, praying that Sid is okay and that they'll find him safe and sound.

"You hear that?"

Diego comments over to Manny as Hazel stops beside him.

"This is my kind of place."

Before anymore comments a sudden "Hello?" from Buck rings out, and all three turn to see him talking into a stone.

"No, I can't talk right now, I'm trying to recover a dead sloth..."

He sticks his dagger down against a rock, signaling the herd to give them a minute as he continues on talking to the stone, not really going any quieter so they still hear him; "But they're following me, I know, they think I'm crazy."

As Buck continues on with his conversation, Hazel side-eyes Diego who watches on confused, seems like his kind of place alright.

"Alright!;" Buck turns back loudly, throwing the stone away and picking up his dagger suddenly before walking off; "Follow me!"

"That's you in three weeks." Manny casually mentions to Diego before walking after him, followed by Hazel who adds lowly; "maybe two."

Diego stares oddly at the remarks, especially at the attitude , he needed to find a time to at least talk things out, and maybe even think about what he was gonna do before continuing on with everyone.

They soon reach their next destination, in a cave that has green smoke rising and never seem to reach the bottom, even as one of the twin possums spit which just goes on and on.

"So why do they call it the Chasm of Death?"

"Well, we tried 'Big Smelly Crack' but uh, it just made everyone giggle."

Hazel lets out a low chuckle.

"Well what now?"

The second after Manny askes, Buck cuts down some vines and a giant rib cage is presented in front of them, hanging by some of those supportive vines as he stands atop.
