Okay, I'm officially done with Mr. Dreadmore. I mean, I thought the guy couldn't get any worse, but somehow, he's raising the bar for the world's most annoying teacher. So, naturally, Leo came up with a plan to get back at him.
I don't know how he does it, but Leo's brain is a mix of genius and absolute chaos. He's been talking about this prank all day, and honestly, I can't tell if he's serious or if he's just trying to mess with me. But by lunchtime, I'm fully on board—mostly because I can't stand Mr. Dreadmore anymore and the idea of pranking him feels like the only way to cope.
Here's the plan: Leo wants to sneak into the teacher's lounge and swap out Mr. Dreadmore's coffee with some really, really spicy hot sauce. He claims it'll give Dreadmore the "wake-up call" he deserves, and—honestly—I'm not sure if this is a great idea or a terrible one. Probably both.
We spent the entire lunch period putting it together. Leo's idea was simple: while Dreadmore's in the lunchroom (he's got this weird habit of staying in there every day, staring at us like he's watching a reality show), we would sneak into the teacher's lounge and replace his coffee with the hottest sauce we could find.
The execution? Well, that part wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be. First, Lo and Ben were supposed to be the lookouts, but they just kept laughing. Eli was already planning his exit strategy in case things went south (spoiler: he wasn't much help). And I swear, Leo has zero chill. He's the kind of guy who would knock over a glass of water and still act like nothing happened.
But somehow, we managed to pull it off. The whole thing was way messier than I expected—Leo knocked over a chair, and I'm pretty sure some of the hot sauce splashed onto the floor—but we got the coffee swapped out. And just in time, too, because Dreadmore came back just as we were making our exit.
The rest of the lunch period was spent trying not to laugh. We could barely look at each other without cracking up, imagining Dreadmore taking a sip of his coffee.
At the end of lunch, we were all on edge, just waiting to hear the aftermath. It wasn't until the end of the day when I saw it happen.
Dreadmore walked into the classroom, all calm and collected, like he always does, and took a sip of his coffee. At first, I didn't think anything was going to happen. But then... his face went red.
Like, bright red.
He froze for a second, probably trying to figure out if he just forgot how to drink coffee, and then—boom—he starts coughing like he's choking. I swear I saw steam coming out of his ears. He spit the coffee out into the trash can, muttering to himself about how the coffee machine must have "broken."
Leo almost lost it. I had to bury my face in my notebook to avoid laughing out loud. It was honestly the best thing that happened all week.
But I don't think this prank is going to end well. Dreadmore is definitely going to figure out who did it, and I can only imagine what his revenge plan will look like. Knowing him, it's probably going to be way worse than anything we've ever done. So yeah, the prank was hilarious—but I'm also kind of dreading what's coming next.
