Once home, Lucy rushed to her room, her heart fluttering with anticipation. She carefully selected a cute pink frilly baby grow and pulled it over her head, smoothing down the soft material. Next came a pale pink dungarees dress, complete with white lace trimming that matched the baby grow perfectly.

She glanced at herself in the mirror, feeling a rush of excitement at the sight. This was really happening. After slipping on some pink frilled socks, she reached into her backpack and pulled out her beloved Hello Kitty binky and Mr. Whiskers, her childhood teddy bear.

She tucked the pacifier into her mouth and held Mr. Whiskers tight against her chest as she made her way to the car, her thoughts swirling with a mixture of nervousness and joy.

As she drove to Angela and Tim's address, she couldn't help but wonder what the evening would bring. Would they like her little side? Would she fit in with them?

All these questions filled her mind, but she pushed them aside, choosing to focus on the warmth and safety she felt whenever she was around them. Taking a deep breath, Lucy stepped out of her car and walked towards their house, ready to embrace whatever came next.

Lucy's hands trembled slightly as she clutched her backpack, the softness of Mr. Whiskers offering a small measure of comfort against her chest.

She took a deep breath and raised her hand to knock on the door, the sound echoing through the quiet neighborhood.

As she waited, her mind raced with all the possible scenarios that could play out tonight. Would Angela and Tim still accept her little side once they saw it in full display? Would she be able to fully let go and trust them? These thoughts only made her feel smaller, the weight of her decision pressing heavily on her shoulders.

But as she heard footsteps approaching, she reminded herself that she wanted this, needed this, and they had promised to guide and protect her. When the door finally opened, Lucy looked up at them with wide, hopeful eyes, as she suckled on her Hello Kitty binky.

Tim's face lit up upon seeing Lucy in her little outfit, his heart swelling with affection. He crouched down to meet her gaze, his voice gentle. "Hey there, Little one. You look absolutely adorable," he said, reaching out to take her hand.

Angela stood behind him, a warm smile on her face as she watched the interaction. She could already see the change in Lucy, how she seemed to shrink further into herself, seeking comfort in her binky and clinging to Mr. Whiskers.

"Come on in, sweetie. We've got dinner all ready for you," she chimed in, stepping aside to let Lucy enter their home. The house was filled with the delicious aroma of home-cooked lasagna, a meal that instantly made Lucy's stomach rumble.

As Tim led Lucy inside, she couldn't believe her eyes when she spotted the Hello Kitty highchair waiting for her at the dining table. Her favorite cartoon character adorned the sippy cup and plate, as well as the bib that lay neatly folded beside them. Her heart raced with excitement as she realized Angela had somehow known her love for Hello Kitty.

The height difference between her and Angela and Tim only served to emphasize her littleness, and she found herself relaxing further into the role.

Tim lifted Lucy effortlessly into the Hello Kitty highchair, his movements gentle and sure. The act of being lifted and placed into the highchair sent a wave of warmth through Lucy, allowing her to fully slip into her little self.

She squealed with delight as he buckled her in, her legs kicking happily against the chair. Angela chuckled at the sight and handed Tim the bib. "Here, let's make sure our little one doesn't get too messy," she said, her tone affectionate.

Tim grinned and fastened the bib securely around Lucy's neck. Once she was all set, they placed the Hello Kitty plate filled with lasagna cut into bite-sized pieces in front of her.

Lucy's eyes widened at the sight, and she let out an adorable squeal of excitement. "Tankyou!" she said, her speech slightly slurred due to the pacifier in her mouth. Both Angela and Tim couldn't help but smile at her innocent display of happiness.

They knew this was exactly what she needed - a safe space to embrace her inner child without any judgment. Angela handed Lucy a spoon and demonstrated how to hold it properly.

"Now, remember, we eat slowly and carefully," she instructed, her voice motherly and comforting. Lucy nodded, her eyes never leaving the food. She picked up the spoon and attempted to scoop up some lasagna, her movements clumsy yet determined.

Angela and Tim exchanged proud glances before starting their own dinner, keeping an eye on Lucy as she fumbled her way through the meal.

She giggled at the taste of apple juice, her eyes darting between Angela and Tim. They both looked so happy to have her there, and she couldn't help but feel a deep sense of belonging.

As they sat down at their own places, Tim reached out to pat her hand reassuringly. "We're glad you decided to join us, lu," he said, his voice filled with genuine warmth.

Despite Angela's instructions to eat slowly and carefully, Lucy's excitement got the better of her. Each time she tried to scoop up some lasagna, she ended up with more sauce on her face than in her mouth.

Tomato sauce covered her cheeks and chin, and a few strands of spaghetti clung to her nose. She giggled at her own clumsiness, enjoying the sensation of the mess she was creating.

Angela watched her with amusement, occasionally reaching over to wipe her face clean with a baby wipe. "Slow down, sweetheart. We don't want you to make a bigger mess," she teased, her voice filled with warmth.

Tim couldn't help but join in the laughter, his eyes filled with affection as he watched Lucy. He knew this was a huge step for her, and seeing her so carefree and happy only made his heart swell with pride.

Lucy pouted playfully, trying her best to eat properly, but her efforts were futile. The more she tried to be neat, the messier she became, until eventually, her bib was covered in sauce and her hands were sticky with cheese.

"I...I'm sowwy," she said between giggles, her eyes sparkling with delight. Angela leaned over to give her a kiss on the forehead, leaving a red smudge behind. "It's okay, my itty bitty baby hmm?" And with that, she grabbed a wet wipe and began to clean her up, their bond growing stronger with every stroke.
