Chapter 10

Anna's POV

Having Froy over was a blast because there isn't much of an age difference between us, and he's like the best little brother you could ask for.

While Froy and I were at the mall the other day, we unexpectedly ran into Nishikage and Nosaka. Oh no, why did he have to be there? I know I decided to give him a chance, but I feel like I should just move on. Lost in my thoughts, Nosaka approached us.

Nosaka: Hello, Anna...

Suddenly, Froy put his arms around my shoulders. Thankfully, he was wearing a wig so he wouldn't be recognized. I couldn't help but feel like he did it on purpose to make Nosaka jealous.

Anna: (I greeted him back) Oh, hi Nosaka-san. Fancy seeing you here.

I could sense Nosaka looking at Froy's hand on my shoulder. For some reason, it made me happy.

Nosaka: Anna, are you feeling better than the other day when I escorted you back? (He said that, glaring at Froy)

Then Froy spoke up.

Froy: Sister Anna, do you know this guy?

Anna: Yeah, he's just one of the Inazuma players and the tactician of the field.

Froy: Oh, wow. So you're the famous Emperor.

Nosaka: Yes, and you are? (He said with a forced smile)

Froy: Hi, I'm Anna's little brother. I go to boarding school abroad, and today I'm having fun with my lovely sister. So, bye, now we're going.

With that, Froy dragged me away, and we left.

Anna: Haha, you tried to provoke him.....

She was laughing her lungs out.

Anna: But why didn't you continue to play along? Why did you tell him you're my brother? It was nice to see him jealous.

Froy: Did you not see the way he was glaring at me? It was terrifying! It looked as though he could murder me. But hey, sis, you have my blessing. That guy definitely seemed smitten with you," he said with a smirk.

Anna blushed and replied, "Shut up. Let's go get something to eat."

Froy (chuckled,) "Haha, so this is how people in love act," as he continued to tease Anna.

We were heading out to grab some food when Bernard suddenly called.

Froy: I guess he found out, huh?

Anna: YOU DIDN'T TELL HIM YOU WERE COMING?

Froy: What, it's not like I'm a child. I can make my own decisions, you know.

I smacked him.

Anna: So you think you're all grown up now, huh? Have you ever thought about the chaos your sudden disappearance is causing? Froy, everyone must be worried sick about you. You should have at least told Brother Bernard.

Froy: Do you think he even cares? Ever since father died, he barely even speaks to me. We don't even have meals together. And you know how mother just treats us like tools. I barely even see her. (he started tearing up) Actually, I came here because you're the only one who makes me feel loved. It feels like I have a family that cares for me when I'm with you, sister. (sobbing) I... I...

Anna: (hugs him tightly) Come on, little one. You've been through a lot. You know, when I get a call from either of you, I get so happy that I start jumping around. But I know how it feels to be lonely. You can always call me or come to me whenever you're feeling down or upset.
